Yep! Highlight for me will be another visit to the National Football Museum.

Interesting that we're expected to buy 1,000 tickets upfront, I doubt Man City would sell them either given their reputation of late.

Respect to those going though, it'll be interesting for sure.

Agree. The box office can see the rate that sales at which ticket sales have been going and if it was down to less than a trickle of sales anyway, it is probably the right decision.

Not a lot of point taking the middle tier and selling just a few tickets there over the next couple of weeks, when there will probably be a couple of dozen returns from the players allocation during the week before the game anyway.

Not heard anyone say they are angry they missed out, they had a couple of weeks to buy and there's always a waiting list that will probably look after any such fans if they are that bothered.

Think your right but moving on we seem to have taken a reduced allocation for wolves so anyone wanting to go prob better to buy as soon as they can just in case that suddenly becomes sold out .not sure how many tickets we got but kids are on holiday that game which could make a difference how many travel.

The allocation we have at Wolves, across both tiers is plenty for an evening game there IMO

The club haven't announced a waiting list for this one yet, or even officially admitted that it's sold out.

I think as we sold out with three weeks to go with an allowance of just one guest ticket per member, we clearly don't have enough tickets and could have sold a fair few more. I also accept, though, that we would have sold nowhere near another thousand, so if the only option really was to commit to another thousand then it's understandable that the box office would not do that. But I still think it's poor that they don't give out proper information about the available allocation, especially when it's significantly different from previous visits to the same place.

The club have been a bit petty here. Sold out way before the game? There will be fans, who for some reason after the shower of crap on Tuesday, might actually want to see the club play. Not everybody can afford to buy tickets weeks in advance and also there are those through work and family responsibilities that cannot commit early. Those senior administrative staff running the club ought to give a bit more of a damn about the fans.

Can't really get outraged on non-existent fans behalf (still waiting for a single Palace fan to say they have missed out on a ticket). There is a waiting list and also tickets in the home end on general sale at 6 per person, plus Thomas Cook packages on sale if you are really disorganised.

Really? Out of interest were they waiting for the middle tier? Nobody has started a "tickets wanted" thread on the ticket trading part of the forum.

Away games usually go on sale approx. 5 weeks before the game, and some games do sell out during the various category phases during the first week without reaching weeks of being on general sale.

In my opinion, very few fans who are really bothered about going to a game would leave it drifting on until say the week before the game.

Do think the waiting list will probably satisfy anyone who missed out though, club do seem to regularly keep more back than they need.

Haven't been for a couple of years, hope they still have the band on stage pre-game will probably be the highlight.

If I were Palace, there is no way I'd be purchasing another thousand tickets for this even if it is 3 weeks away. Of course we would sell a few as it gets closer but nowhere near that amount I would expect. Man City away is a peculiar one. In years gone by this sort of game is the cream of the cream being by far the best team in the league, but it genuinely has no real great appeal. Yet, across the City most people are always keen to go to Old Trafford where historically we always get shafted in one way or another. Maybe iut's because of the history with Utd, although I doubt revenge for the final(s), the Cantona situation, the Roy Keane stamping or the Palace fan dying plays a real part in people making the decision to attend.

No they were too late. Perhaps they expected to buy one in the 3 weeks leading up to the match. The fools.
