A couple of packed lunch questions from me

- does anyone feel forced to have a packed lunch because of the increased cost of living means they can no longer afford to buy lunch out?

- will Brexit and the end of freedom of movement mean more people take packed lunches, as cafes etc in London rely heavily staff from the EU?

- Will we be even able to get the ingredients for a packed lunch post-Brexit?

Can it be moved now, please?

I have a flask that keeps coffee piping hot for 24hours. Cost double the price of a normal flask, but it’s paid for itself a hundred times over.
Pack lunch depends on where I have my break.
I like pret porridge for lunch

I walk home every day for my lunch, not many people can say that these days. Get to open the post and watch the lunchtime news before ambling back. Gotta love Local Government

I'm a hungry man with a big appetite but porridge for breakfast with a bit of fruit once you get to work keeps the hungry at bay until lunch time (1130).

When I was at school I never made it to lunch before scoffing my sandwiches. On occasion I got caught in class and got them confiscated My geography teacher once caught me at it, grabbed them off me and ate them! Ah, the good old days.

I work in schools now and eat my packed lunch with the kids. Modelling positive behaviour it’s called. Although in my case it’s negative behaviour as it seems a lot of kids have followed my lead in turning their healthy sandwiches into crisp sandwiches. Waiting for a parent to make the obligatory complaint.

I used to work on new builds on site and often did I forgo lunch because pricework was so shit.
And it saved having to bother cooking that night.

Putting crisps (ready salted preferably) in sandwiches should be compulsory and part of a child’s upbringing

I like it when you forget your sweetie treat (usually a penguin choccy bar) in ya pack lunch, and find it at the end of your shift... it’s the confectionary equivalent of finding a tenner in a old pair of jeans
