Both are brilliant, as are Trippier, Walker, Clyne and Gomez who can all play there.

I would say TAA is more proven in the big European games he has played. I'd edge him, but yes think AWB defensively is more solid and he is improving by the week. Great options to have.

Dribbling is his strength with the ball. His passing he keeps simple i think in part knowing his limitations and his crossing i think is poor but he rarely takes one on.

Although Wan-Bissaka leads the Premier League list in tackles made it is interesting to note that Maldini averaged only one tackle every other game for AC Milan and he is regarded as one of the best ever full backs.

AWB is clearly a class act and will have a tremendous career, probably at a top name club, but his trademark slide tackles will get coached out of him as it is technically not good defending even it is very effective.

Interesting point. I remember seeing a 17yo Ryan Giggs at Selhurst in 1991 and coming out thinking he was an incredible and unique talent (wankers aside), what happened is that uniqueness got coached out and he became a very effective team player but ultimately lacking that spark that he had when he first came on the scene.

I hope AWB stays just the way he is and instead of getting things out of his games, he merely adds to what he can do.

Yep. His style of tackling (if timed well), means the tackles he does make are likely going to win him the ball.

It’s obvious that TAA has more pedigree, but that doesn’t make him a better player. Especially when the other hasn’t had a chance to prove himself on that stage (if Aaron was shown up in champions league football, you’d have a point).

That's amazing if true, think it just goes to show how brilliant players are always in the right place at the right time, they make football look easy.

It’s fine for a side of Palace, who aren’t quite on the same tactical defensive wavelength as 90s Milan. But yes, when he moves to a bigger club, it’ll be less necessary and less encouraged.

AWB will get a cap to 'keep him English' though this also puts him in the shop window, how much does it increase his value being a young England prospect or being just a young prospect!?
