I was thinking that April was going to be a nightmare but to be fair 5 of the 7 games are either at home or in London, one is a little hour drive to Southampton which only leaves Liverpool as a big trip - 8 days after a home game. Although it is congested it is not physically demanding in terms of travel etc.

Liverpool, Watford & WBA have 5 games
Bournemouth, Burnley, Everton, Hull, Southampton, Stoke, Sunderland, Swansea & West Ham have 6 games
Us, Arsenal Chelsea, Manchester City, Middlesbrough & Tottenham everyone else have 7 games
Leicester have 8 games
Manchester United have 9 games
An hours drive to Southampton? Are you Lewis Hamilton?

The two small breaks our players have had may be to our advantage. Lose two key players and it could go tits up very quickly for any of the bottom teams.

So, for or against Spurs in the FA Cup? Looking at the permutations:
Chelsea win by the odd goal in a dour but unremarkable match- Spurs disappointed but looking to bounce back to keep their second place safe. Spurs win in the opposite variant - Spurs strut their stuff in Wednesday's follow up. Chelsea wipe the floor with Spurs. Totally demoralized Spurs capitulate further vs Palace. Chelsea win after extra time and penalties- Spurs heartbroken but vow to make up for it v Palace. Energy sapping Wembley turf end up drawing at Selhurst. Spurs hammer Chelsea, go on the lash and get spanked down to earth by Palace. My guess is that we will benefit from a tired Spurs and get a draw or possibly a narrow win because of the energy levels.

Got to hope for extra time. Not sure the result will matter, depending on how they are doing in the league by then - if they are still top 4 by then (which you'd expect) then regardless of the cup, they'll want to push on and make the Champions League.

I'm fairly confident the team wouldn't be travelling in rush hour

Wow, we are going to have to accumulate as many points as possible (2 wins Saints and Leicester) would be huge and really take a lot of the pressure off, before that hectic 6 day period when we play Liverpool, Spurs then Burnley. By which time we will probably be knackered mentally and physically.
