I think we have turned the corner with being too passive and feel confident we are have enough fire power and depth and good enough to stay up this season on merit (and not praying for luck around you like most Palace fans every season who always relying on every team around them to be more shit) Which annoyingly they have got away with for at least a few years.
Brighton, staying up the right way.
Let's see if they can beat our points total from any of the last four seasons. Should be easy as we have been so awful

Yeah, we have been so, so fortunate - Each of the 4 seasons we have got over 40 points, I think the lowest total was 41 (last season). And I'm sure the closest we have been to 18th place, points wise, is 7 points.
Particularly lucky in our first 2 seasons that 9 and 10 teams below us were utterly shite.

The main reason we stayed up last season was because we had a run of games, where we played 3 of the final top 5 and the previous season's Champions (Leicester) and we W3 D1 - But of course, we extremely fortunate in those matches, especially when we beat Arsenal 3-0.
Staying up the right way, is having incredible luck with injuries i/o having virtually a whole team out, crocked.

Worth repeating. Those lucky tossers must have had no more than 3 short term injuries all season, never mind 10 out all at once. They really know **** all.

In addition to the usual bumps, knocks and short-term injuries:

Baldock has been out injured all season, only came back last month
Kayal was out since the start of the season with a broken leg, only returned about 2 months ago
Izzy Brown did his hamstring in the opening game and was out till October, now he's out for the season and back at Chelsea after doing his knee ligaments.
Steve Sidwell has been out all season with a back injury. Now an ankle injury in January has finished his season

but yeah, other than that...

How many of those would be nailed on starters?

Oh yeah...
