It is classic fascism just like Germany in the 1930s, and remember the EU had not been created then, so you can't blame that for the rise of Hitler and the Nazi party. On the contrary, the EU, or common market as it once was called after the war, was part of the mechanism created to prevent it happening again. Is it not a coincidence with our leaving, and the Brexidiot predictions that the EU is going to break up now we are leaving, that the far right are starting to make waves again in Europe, after sixty years of their absence, at least as a political force?
AfD were formed in 2013 before brexit and only just missed out on seats at the election of that year , You are really losing it if you think Brexit is to blame for the surge of Nazism in Germany , The UK have nothing to do with whats happening in europe particularly Germany , I am proud to say a Nazi or fascist party will never enter a UK parliament . The blame is lays at the feet of the EU and the longer you deny it and pretend it isn't the more powerful the far right will become .

A deeply troubling Jamaican coalition is predicted for desperate Merkel . To view the link you have to Register or Login

LONDON (Reuters Breakingviews) - Sunday’s election will turn Germany into Jamaica. A coalition resembling the colours of the Caribbean country’s flag – black for Chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservatives, yellow for the pro-business Free Democratic Party (FDP), plus the Greens – is the only viable option for a majority in the German parliament. Europe’s largest economy is facing a period of weak and unstable government.
