Maybe all the ST holders of the LH should have a vote with three choices

1- The current plan

2- A complete reset

3- leave as is

and we all agree to abide by the democratic choice of the fans in the LH and unite behind it in the interests of the club.

The problem with CPFC through the years is that just when things start to look good we implode.
Normally its the various chairman or certain players or managers that are to blame but in this case its just down to us fans and i mean all of us.
I think most of us see merits in a major singing section behind the goal in the LH, the debate is more to do with hows best or fair to bring it about but either way it is our duty to not make it toxic, to not make us divided and to not let it start to affect the team, the sort of players who want to join or stay at the club and our general image as a club.

We are are seriously punching above our weight as a club at the moment, they are plenty of bigger clubs than us in the championship and below and we've got to this point by superb chairmanship, having one superb player in Wilf and the unity of team and fans in the stand.
We as fans have a role to play and we have to be careful we don't lead the implosion ourselves and create a completely toxic situation in the stands.

You can't blame the HF for having the vision of wanting to create what they've spelt out in a very reasonable way in that document and it was well supported and is well supported by most Palace fans.
You can't blame the people of Block E for being disappointed its them that have to fall on their swords and pay the price for its creation but thets stop the blame, the insults and the division.
Lets all try and do whats best for the club and the team because as supporters that is what being good supporters is all about.

What by telling the truth?!

For a guy your age to try and derail this positive move for a better atmosphere - that players and chairman alike have actively called for - and from a movement much younger than you're involved with seems totally bizarre and quite frankly, selfish.

Why is is bizarre for someone to want to sit in a seat that the always have with a fantastic view of the game? Why is it selfish to want to be treated the same as everyone else?

Quite tellingly, the move was also backed by a number of fan groups - none of which have withdrawn their support. Why would they? Everyone wants a top Palace atmosphere and we certainly need it.

'THE MOVE' that you speak of isn't the same one the HF said they wanted in their statement. So those 'fan groups' were in fact backing a totally different outcome.

The fanbase, fan groups and even neutrals want to see the atmosphere enhanced and this proposal certainly pushes us in that direction - do you not want to see it pushed on?

Who gives a toss what 'neutrals' think? Are you that needy for everyone to look at you?? Attention.

You're on a very personal quest, and the outcome you want, in my eyes, is at the very detriment of the club's progress and benefit,

Lol. Yes because our success has been huge with the HF there hasn't it. If we don't have a singing section we may never win again.....

You mention 'real fans,' in your post - but would a 'real fan' protest against something the chairman and players want to bring in for the good of the club?

The definition of a 'real fan' is someone who has paid for a seat since 1995 no matter what division we're in.

No offence, but it's time to be blunt: I'm pretty sure the players and manager certainly value an enhanced atmosphere from our younger generation over 'Steve K's view of the game.'

Please show evidence of this. I'm pretty sure the players wouldn't devalue stevek's support. Stop speaking on behalf of people you don't know.

Time for you to move on. I sincerely hope you get a good deal out of moving and find somewhere that suits you to enjoy the game.

No you don't, you're getting pleasure out of this.

But time to stop sniping at the next generation of fan for wanting to improve the atmosphere, and stop your selfish crusade.
You're acting like the father of this future generation of fan. You're obsessed with them. The only reason can be that you are getting insulted because one of those 'future generations' is your son.

I think you'll find the club are managing this reorganisation. I was offered to the chance to stay in the singing section, though not guaranteed it is not 100% exclusive

I read several posts last week from people in Block E who when the club rang them, they asked about staying to sing and they were told they couldn’t.

So you’ve either been misinformed, strung a line by someone who didn’t want to tell you the truth, or the club have softened their stance on this.

After all, the club do change tack constantly on most of this!

there will be plenty of room iof we are relegated which is looking more likely than ever as the season goes by.

I will have to move - at first I was ok aboiut it but the more I think about it the more disillusdioned I feel.

I am getting fed up with rarely seeing my team win at home, Sunday games and Saturday games at odd times all to satisfy Sky and now this - I am starting to fall out of love with football and am not sure if I will bother renewing.

I will not be going on Sunday and I have tlo say I enjoyed the match day experience far more on the Championship.

Really feeling down at the moment.

Me too. At first I was annoyed ar the HF for forcing the clubs hand, then I accepted it for the greater good and then got annoyed again when it was the HF only.

Now I’m just deflated about it and have never felt so low and disillusioned.

I was at Stockport, Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, the first admin grim reaper march amongst others, but that was just being a Palace fan and its what we do.

But the absolute shit and vitriol some give towards block E, when we didnt start this has just left me deflated and why do I bother,

I doubt I’ll be at Arsenal, hopefully ill be back soon but at the moment I don’t know when. I’m not sure I’ll renew even if some good seats become available or even if i get to stay where I am. The way some have gone on I’m not sure I’ll feel the same bond with my club of 30 years.

I often go to random non league games when Palace don’t play and went to Dorking on Saturday. I throughly enjoyed it without all this shit going on.
