Palace really do have some twats posting on these forums with twattish views and twattish opinions. Sad little individuals who seem to get some sort of pleasure out of trying to undermine all the good that has been done with the Club in the last couple of years.

Totally agree Barbara. How anyone who can undermine the great work cpfc2010 are doing and the staff at cpfc by trying to deter people from buying season tickets is beyond me. Then they claim to be palace fans?! Some fan if you are actively putting others off supporting cpfc.

Keep up the great work cpfc2010 and all the staff at cpfc. The last 2 years have been the most informative, progressive, professional and passionate that I have witnessed in over 30 years of following palace by those running the club.

The long term project under way is the way forward and if supported by as many real palace fans as possible who care about the club as they claim to then we will all make huge strides forwards together.

The more supporters who get behind our local club the better. The owners are doing their bit in rebuilding the club the 'right' way, the players are putting shifts in on the pitch, so that just leaves the fans to do their bit, if they can financially afford to do so of course.
The instalments plan is a great deal though spread out over time rather than all up front.
The kids u10 going free season ticket with an adult is an amazing offer and shows the guys behind the scenes are actively trying to encourage the future fans to get behind their local club.

Think the owners are in a no-win situation on ticket prices and i am fortunate in that i have a long term deal they honoured as otherwise i would have to reconsider being a ST holder with lifes twists and turns.

Personally i would say our tickets are over-priced but then i believe that is the case for every club in the country. Football is a bloody expensive past-time for anyone to have. Bundesliga prices are usually far lower than our prices for example.

But running a football club in this country is ridiculously expensive and ticket sales is one of the few decent revenue streams. It has also been shown in the past that dropping the price to £10 doesn't always increase attendance - see League Cup fixtures.

It is great news that the owners aim to make Palace one of the more affordable clubs to follow in the Championship and is IMO the best they can do without making us completely uncompetitive or bankrolling unsustainable losses.

To be honest, I'm completely broke at the moment as I'm setting up a business and my wife is supporting me financially. But I would never ever consider not renewing my season ticket. It's just one of those things. Got to be done.

Good to see Steve wants to keep us at the bottom of the price list. I think that sort of message is vital as it feeds in nicely to the notion that we're a community club. We really need to embrace that as it's part of our culture; we veered off that course under Jordan but we're back on it now thanks to 2010.

Due to being a moron and spending a fortune on doing all games this year I managed to spend too much money and then missed the deadline. The installment plan will be my saviour and frankly having to pay a little more to continue supporting this great club is a sacrifice I am more than happy to make.

Will more than likely take a little drive to Selhurst tomorrow with my form to arrange this. Then I can sit back and relx in the knowledge of another eventful season.

This season has seen an amazing cup run and some truly brilliant "I was there moments" - Win at the Amex, win at Old Trafford and win at the New Den all in one season has left me feeling spoilt! We're going places, so why would anyone not want to be a part of that?

Would Billy Rhino like to come on here and explain why we should continue to charge our supporters (and indeed the supporters of the away teams) lower prices than other clubs charge their supporters (and our away supporters)?

Furthermore I would like to totally refute his statement that we will be charging £25 for Cat B games behind the goals next season. We have not decided on the prices yet but I would like us to still (by far) have the cheapest seat in the league - ie £20 (that will probably be for members in the Whitehorse) and the Holmesdale Lower will probably be £22-24 I think.

If you assume, say, 7 matches will be Category A at a fiver more (depends on the opposition, fixture dates etc etc) then buying an adult season ticket for the Lower Holmesdale at the current price would save you approximately £140 on buying that seat on the gate next season - plus it saves a lot of hassle, gets you your own seat, various other benefits and supports the club.

I've got a lot of sympathy with your view but a number of people on here have in the past suggested that this list is comparing apples with pears.

In addition I'm not sure it's actually right. For example, Millwall's website is currently showing that you can buy tickets in the equivalent of the AW for £27; an equivalent at Watford is £26; Coventry £22. And they were the first 3 clubs that I chose; can't be arsed to check the rest - but they all differ from the prices quoted in the list.

On the occassions when the youngest isn't up for it it doesn't matter really as you've only paid for your own ticket which if you spread the cost over the 3 seats means the 'loss' by not going is only small.
