On a TV show where the characters have a dart board, and its not set to the correct height. The Big Bang Theory springs to mind.

Look, even Stephen Hawking is in on the act |
Quote:
Example: I now have over 150K Twitter followers and by chance one of them recognised me at Chez Bruce last week OMG At the time I was actually dining with some quite important people and despite their clear objections I made sure that the poor bloke left with a selfie of me!!! The waiter did not know what to do with himself - after all we were in Chez Bruce LOL With all this fake news out there at the moment, someone needs to properly deal with this before someone innocent gets hurt...with hindsight I really wonder what would have happened if I would have turned down that selfie request. How embarrassing would that have been!! Anyways the final outcome was the waiter got a good tip to help compensate for all the commotion and even better it turned out that the selfie was retweeted quite a lot so I ended up with another 1k followers on the back of it so how about that everyone! |
They clearly lowered it as Stephen Hawking was coming round.

Why doesn't Hawking get an update on that silly voice he uses? Is he still running it off of MS-DOS or something? That's strangely annoying.

He probably shouldn't try voice recognition personal banking. |

Just had an arguement at work with someone who thought Eire was part of the U.K. At first I tried explaining that he was wrong and showed him a U.K Wiki page and followed that up by showing him a map of Eire showing the border with N.I. He replied with 'So technically, I'm right 'cos they're joined'
So in summary things that annoy me today are, 1) Stupid people who refuse to accept they're wrong 2) People who think Eire is part of the U.K (I'm 2nd generation Irish and proud) 3) People who use 'Technically' in an arguement because they think it gives them wide ranging scope to talk complete and utter B***cks!!!!! |

Paul O'Grady...yes, I've said it before but he's so smarmy. Loves dogs, loves old ladies & anyone/anything who/that 'needs help', including animals in faraway countries. Latest 'contribution' to the world of entertainment being 'The Sally Army & Me' in which (ads) he spends most of his time with a fixed grin, laughing & yakking in a ridiculous accent. Someone shoot him PLEASE & do us all a favour. Unfortunately I can't avoid ads for his progs as they're on every day, but as soon as I see his smug face I press the MUTE button till the next ad comes on. Anyone else hate him as much as me? I can't be the only one, surely. A bullet well worth its use.

Anyone else just see the bearded :jerkit: on BBC London News prancing around the animal pen "in the name of art"? What a complete and utter tosser! This is worthy of airtime exactly how ffs?? And the total pseuds going, "yeah, like, very expressive, like" etc., while the goats are going 'wtf??:confused:'
Maybe it is just me... :wallbash: |

People who position themselves so as to block empty lanes in a traffic queues so nothing can pass them in one lane while they keep their position in the other.

Things that annoy me.
Two faced bastards. Back stabbing liars. Keyboard warriors. Give it large tossers, that in real life, have no guts. |
This may annoy some on here, but there is an advert on talk sport for a gambling site and its hook is "when the fun stops, stop". It really winds me up, what fecking fun? I have known so many people who have ruined their lives gambling.

Incorrect use of the word automatically. I regularly use a door with a sign which says, "Automatic door - push button to open" ITS NOT AUTOMATIC THEN IS IT IF YOU HAVE TO PUSH A BUTTON! Might as well have signs on all normal doors which "automatically" open if you turn the handle and push or pull.
Also on Deezer music is says, "press the button and the lyrics automatically appear". Again not automatic since a button has to be pressed! |
Talking of auto doors...Feel sorry for those poor cashiers in 7-Eleven & Family Mart here who have to put up with 24-hour 'BING-BONG' of automatic doors opening & closing every time anyone gets near them. Drives me crazy just being a customer, the employees must be loonies after a week.

Confusing people who operate on their own frequency and think everyone else knows what the hell they are on about. Usually ends with the said person walking off thinking everyone else is stupid.
Anyone who crosses the entire width of the pavement to walk on the outside of you. Driving on a narrow lane and the person driving towards you passes a perfectly good pull in so you then both have creep past each other wheels in the dirt. I'm having a grumpy day today:( |
Grown adults using a scooter to get 100yds from the tube station to the office.
|
When filtering past traffic on bike (motorised) oncoming car or van drivers that will intentionally drive either towards or dangerously close..for whatever reason. it is not brave or clever, it endangers lives.
|
Most drivers don't understand that (safe) filtering is perfectly legal.
|
People walking along pavements or office corridors staring into their mobile phones (not even looking at Google maps) & oblivious to anyone else coming towards them!
