The Superbowl is nowhere near the biggest sporting event of the year, but god damn do they promote/advertise it properly!

that being said I'm a massive NFL fan and have 1.4k riding on the Eagles!

I'd legit give up 2 touchdowns for him to sit out the rest of the game! that's why i bet so much on this, I fancied the Eagles anyway but that sort of injury ain't going away in a hurry

muaythaidon1 13-02-2023 01:06 AM

Think about it, your against the best player in the league and you know if if you touch that ankle you win the superbowl.... Mind you i said this the last game and he came back and ****ed my bet lol

muaythaidon1 13-02-2023 01:08 AM

The eagles defence is going to destroy him, I have 1.4k on it and said the same thing against Joe Burrow and cursed myself.... this defensive is going to munch on that ankle.

Wilbraham413 13-02-2023 01:31 AM

This game is over. Chiefs can't even slow the Eagles down, and the KC offense has scored 1 TD in 30 minutes. Chiefs' D was on the field the entire first half, and Mahomes is gimpy. This is going to turn into a blowout in the second half.

I was skeptical of the Eagles, but they have crushed the Chiefs from the opening kickoff.

Wow, I was rooting for the Chiefs, but the Eagles got jobbed by the refs at the end. The refs had been calling nothing all night long, and they call the most ticky-tack penalty at the very end. If I was a Philly fan, I'd be livid. Refs ruined a potentially really exciting finish there.

That being said, F the Eagles.

Yep, but the Eagles had at least a couple of calls go their way during the game.

This is the future of The Premier League... all comes down to video replays and the calls of the officials.

Little Fozzie 13-02-2023 03:22 AM

Really disappointing end to a great game. Cant just blame the call though, someone/anyone on the d needs to make a play in the 2nd half. Mahomes and Reid made them look like amateurs.

They had a couple of huge calls go their way, and it was a holding penalty at the end: their own players knew it from their reaction.

Yeah, except there is no video review of that call. Technically, maybe the Eagle player impeded the WR a little bit, but jesus christ, the refs called nothing the entire game and that pass wasn't within 20 yards of the WR.

Should have been Chiefs FG, and Eagles have 1:30 to tie or win. Instead, refs gifted the game to the Chiefs. I wanted the Chiefs to win, but that was just a total bullsh-t way to end the game, I'm sorry.

CP-RJW 13-02-2023 03:50 AM

Some super football last night, and what a great game.

And, for all the fuss, it was a penalty. “It was holding,” Bradberry conceded in the locker room after. “I tugged his jersey. I was hoping they would let it slide.” I have to admit it is refreshing he is so honest about it.

aj4england 13-02-2023 12:53 PM

Pre season pick of the Chiefs over Eagles came in at 125/1, very pleased. Great game. Not all games have a fairytale ending though would have been a fitting way. Some smart game management from the Chiefs, including McKinnion sliding down. Ultimately, the Eagles D was on the field 4 times in the 2nd half and couldnt get a stop, with 3 TDs and would have been a 4th but chose the game winning TD instead.

kayjay 14-02-2023 12:41 AM

I guess the Jets better win the Super Bowl this year. Good luck with that.

Quote:

The Packers agreed Monday to deal quarterback Aaron Rodgers and their 2023 first-round pick (No. 15) and a 2023 fifth-round pick (No. 170) to the Jets for New York's 2023 first-round pick (No. 13), a 2023 second-round pick (No. 42), a 2023 sixth-round pick (No. 207) and a conditional 2024 second-round pick that becomes a first if Rodgers plays 65% of the plays this season, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

CP-RJW 25-04-2023 04:07 PM

He went from probably the safest QB of all time to a turnover machine last season. Some of that is bad luck, some of that could be his supporting cast but some of that might be old age catching up to him.

It was a very sudden and dramatic drop off. From two league MVPs in a row to being outperformed by Jared Goff.

Putting my Vikings bias to the side, I think Rodgers deserves another Super Bowl. I’m glad that if he wins it, it won’t be at Green Bay.

Tripod 10 27-04-2023 09:08 PM

A few of hours until the 23 Draft begins. Have a horrible feeling the Cowboys will take a TE in the first. All 3 of the best TE's are receiving players and not blockers. May aswell have kept Schlutz.
Hoping for a D line or O line unless Robinson drops.

Yes I think so as Dallas needed a fatty down the middle to stop the run.
Gutted though as Philly selected 2 top defensive rookies to bear down on Dak twice a year.

Any 2 of RB, TE or OL would be good tonight.

Yep, the Eagles had an amazing round.

I’m pleased with the Vikings, Addison seems to have most of the fundamentals to be a star.

GB2506 28-04-2023 10:59 AM

Buzzing with the Pats pick. Trade down a couple of spots and get an extra 4th rounder whilst still managing to get Christian Gonzalez. CB was a huge need for us.

We have 4 4th rounders, expect us to trade up in the 2nd and get a WR

I think that's harsh on Khan. The NFL wanted a "resident" to play each season and he offered them up.

Given how poor the Jacksonville attendances are - for numerous reasons - it made sense.

He hasn't been quiet about wanting to buy Wembley and how he thinks it would be a good idea to have a UK or Europe Franchise side in the NFL so it would make sense to support them.

They've been coming over and playing since 2013 (I think) so it's not exactly new.

Montyburns76 10-05-2023 08:45 PM

I’m probably seeing it from the other teams who
Aren’t partaking in the “European tour” teams like the bengals who haven’t been to the uk in years for me it’s just a case of the same old same old
