Ha ha. Was just about to say Eli's fumble leading to an Indy TD weren't too smart! The Giants o-line is stinking it up something rotten.

Wow. Some great action last night. Amazing catch by Moss. Arian Foster at it again. Javid Best in great form ... thoroughly enjoyed last night but fell asleep listening to the Jets/Pats game ... Monday morning and SC on ESPN is brilliant.

Not looking forward to the weeks news reports and debates about the QB controversy in Philly.

Seems the Bears have got pretty lucky the last 2 games. Still, I'll take that. Look at Jay Cutler atop the QBs ranking.

Lucky? Not in Dallas. Martz and Tice made some adjustments after the first two drives when the O-line was getting decimated, and after that they were brilliant - in particular Cutler, Hester and the entire D. No luck in that win. Absolutely deserved.

Terrible play by the Patriots.

And terrible fantasy management. What were you thinking? :o

Gotta take those Patriots blinkers off for the fantasy game, Mr D.

Keller let me down so many times last year.

And I thought Revis would take away Cro leaving Edelman and Wes open.

I forgot about my other beast Hernandez.

The blocking for the deep ball to Knox was brilliant.

Give the crybaby some time and he'll find the pass.

Awesome! The report I read suggested the Cowboys threw it away...

Lucky? Not at all. Cutler has his critics, more than mosty actually but he survived the early pounding and got the offence going well ... the D stood tall and we just couldn't get the chains moving enough to turn it into points ... Deserved win. As for the Cowboys, well, shit happens ...

ardeo 20-09-2010 01:55 PM

Well the NFC East is looking a bit sucky so far.

Cowboys have lost two tight games and haven't got much going on offence, against two probably average sides this year.

Eagles got smashed at home by the Packers, edged a win against the Lions and are giving up plenty of points on D.

Giants beat the poor Panthers and got dominated by the Colts, defence giving up points again this season.

Redskins, their usually solid D let Texans back into the match to lose in OT. Offence got going against Texans, but running game is still looking suspect.

Overall Redskins have probably made the best start, but the division is looking wide open, although I would still expect the Cowboys to come through and take the division.

As said last night, that's the first and only time I will ever be suggesting Roy Williams is actually any good ... you see what happens? you stick up for a player and he goes and lets you down .... :o

Got smashed at home by the Packers? 7 point game and all Eagles in the second half? :confused:

Maybe smashed was too strong, outclassed might be more accurate.

Toughest division in the NFL this year?

AFC East. No question.

AFC South surely, would take Colts over Pats/Jets, Texans over Jets/ Pats, Titans over Dolphins and Jags over Bills.

pauldrulez 20-09-2010 05:03 PM

Titans who lost to a poor, poor Steelers team yesterday?

Over the Dolphins who beat the Vikings?

Colts=Pats.

Texans = Dolphins and Jets.

Titans = Bills

Jags = Bills

First major issue with this comparison is that neither the Jets nor the Pats top the AFC East right now.

For the record, though, there's no question at all that at present Miami are better then Tennessee. (Although knowing my luck we'll capitulate at home to them when Nookie and I go watch that game!)

Dolphins are for real, particularly with Mike Nolan overseeing a young, hungry D.

Would still take Colts and Texans over Pats and Jets, maybe Dolphins over the Titans, then Jags played well to beat the Broncos, Bills haven't done much other than hold the Phins to a close game, so would take Jags over Bills.

Overall it's still a better division by 3-1 or 2.5-1.5.

Best Free Agent acquisition of the year.

Mike Nolan.
