Ok, you can manual record on sky+, you can choose te channel, day, start and end time and frequency of the recording which can be set to weekly. What does everyone think the end time should be?

Who is going to be more productive, Dez Bryant or Deion Branch?

Snikt5 12-10-2010 03:23 PM

I am going to show my naivety here, but can anyone tell me why the Jets got rid of Feely this year? Not that I'm complaining mind, Folk has started well.

Both will be 3rd WR the way that Williams is playing.

Pats are featuring the TE more.

I'd go with Bryant right now.

But I wont be surprised if Branch has 8 receptions, 90 yards and a TD.

I haven't seen much of him in Seattle (mainly injuries and I don't watch Seahawks unless on Sky), but he was always shifty and able to get open. Against the Ravens this Sunday, he could have a big day as Brady gets the ball out against the Blitz.

Season-long, I think Bryant becomes as much of a Fantasy stud as Austin is.

He was a Free Agent.

Was surprised that he wasn't re-signed as he was automatic last year.

If you set it for four hours that would cover any potential overtime too, I reckon. If you want pre and post game then you could well be looking at 6-7 hours end to end :D

Swanny32 12-10-2010 09:48 PM

I set mine from 01:25 - 05:00, that should cover it I reckon, another freak storm in NY last night delayed the game, the one I was in a few weeks ago was bad enough and delayed the game by 20 minutes, it was delayed 40 minutes last night so I dread to think what that one must have been like.

I was up gone 5am (UK time) and there were still 5 minutes of playing time left when I went to bed. If it goes to OT, you'd miss that. Assuming you have space on the box and you plan to watch and delete prett quick I'd add another hour on. No harm done if you don't need it but better to have it :p

Think i'll go with that.

1:20am - 6am.

10 minutes of buildup before the real thing.

One other thing that again pissed me off.

Jon Gruden again.

Vikings and Cowboys.

"A battle of two great teams."

Yes, 2 great teams that are 1-3. Brilliant Chucky, just brilliant.

To be fair to ESPN this week the game was delayed due to the weather so simply recording the programme after should just about do it in normal conditions.

Should do, but you never know.

This game had a lot of Running plays as well which took lots of time off the clock quick.

I normally watch it the day it's played and then delete anyway, so i'll just tape as long as I can.

Suprising even that Williams seems to be outplaying Miles Austin right now but that could be more down to coverage this season compared with last ...

Even more interesting is that the Cowboys seems to be very high in most areas this season other than the damn win column!

Guess Gruden thinks there are 28 great teams then.

Saying that, he comments enough on them being great it's probably true.

I have to be honest that I didn't look at the play by play or stats of the Cowboys game after the 1st quarter or so.

But, Felix Jones seemed to be moving the ball, and Romo was hitting different Receivers early.

Just wonder what the hell happened there for them to lose.

Especially on that D. The Pass defense was brilliant last year with Ware and Ratliff getting pressure and Jenkins and Newman looking top notch at CB.

Strange. Personally, I blame the coach.

You say it's the coach but my worry is that if he goes then Garrett will be given the job and I have my doubts about him. Something just isn't clicking into full gear for some reason. One thing I would say is that we need to address the penalties, the Titans games was ridiculous. Laughable Colombo falling over in the end zone, he is so fat he rolled over to get up again and the refs flew the flag for apparantly celebrating ... we still have a chance to win the Beast as there is not one decent team taking it the bull by the horns ... I don't think we will though.

jazman 12-10-2010 10:49 PM

But I will tell you one thing. And one thing that will annoy a few maybe. I like watching the Jets. They have something good going there right now and I really wouldn't put it past them to go all the way this year. Really.
