I'd take him indoors, with no weather conditions against anyone, but stick him in the kind of conditions he will face in January after the injury he had, I fear it will be a repeat of what happened last January against the Ravens.

The funny thing is though Dave, the last time I looked this up (last season), Brady had a better passer rating both indoors and outdoors compared to Manning!

The nearest stats I can find right now were these from 2011 when Manning looked like he may never play again.

Passer Rating...

Indoors:
Brady- 103.1
Manning- 98.6

Outdoors:
Brady- 93.8
Manning- 90.7

Cold (24-40 degrees):
Brady- 94.5
Manning- 85.0

Mild (41-60 degrees):
Brady- 95.7
Manning- 85.7

Rain
Brady- 95.1
Manning- 83.8

Wind
Brady- 95.1
Manning- 82.6

Bundling? The name of the game is getting results. And that's what we did. For once Romo is looking like a QB that can get the job done. Hence the game winning drive last night. Giants huffed and puffed last night but to be fair if it wasn't for two idiot defenders not touching the TE when down and letting him run in for a TD then we'd have had it won earlier.

Yes, Bundling.

Week 7: Beat us, 17-3....The moment was too big for Foles and you barely capitalized on it. You should have destroyed us we were that bad that week.

Week 8: Lose to the Lions 30-31....

Week 9: You beat the Vikings 27-23....let me rephrase that, you beat the VIKINGS by 4 points.....the VIKINGS!

Week 10: Embarrassingly outclassed, out played, battered, annihilated, destroyed vs the Saints 49-17

Week 11: Bye

Week 12: Beat the Giants 24-21, a gift from the Giants. A whole host of mistakes and luck from/for you, stupid play by Cruz for your first TD, late hit by Kiwanuka on Romo for the 2nd strip fumble in the 2nd quarter, not touching Myers when he was down allowing him to go in for a score. Bryant was terrible until the 4th quarter when he decided to turn up, had the Giants recovered that fumble in the 4th quarter then they'd have no doubt put at least 3 on the board.

That was a shocker. For years, Jacksonville tried to get an NFL team to move there. The Falcons previous drunk owner threatened to move there. When the last round of expansion (sans Browns return) came up, Carolina was a slam dunk and the betting money was on St Louis getting the other expansion team. But somehow the other owners voted for Jacksonville and their crappy stadium and tiny metropolitan area. I guess they thought all the support they gave college football would translate to the NFL.

The QB situation in Philly is far from certain.

Dallas have been hampered by a not fully fit D.Ware and the D line stood up away to an in form Giants team last night. All without Sean Lee. Meanwhile, a glimpse of Miles Austin last night will be like a new player if he continues his recovery from injury.

I had a gut full of Cowboys bashing last night on Twitter so apologies if I seem sensitive. We don't help ourselves at times though.

There is no QB situation in Philly, Foles is the guy. Vick has come out and said he's the guy and that he should continue to be the guy. Vick will be traded/released in the off season. Guaranteed.

Should be an interesting end to the division.

I know what you mean, we have a new coach, new coordinators, a new QB...it's a fresh start and almost like supporting a new team with renewed enthusiasm and optimism.

The Cowboys need to freshen things up, almost every season Romo has problems, doesn't live up to the expectation of the Dallas faithful and get's abuse in the stadium, on social media, in the news...etc. There is a good chance they could finish with a winning record this year but I don't think that should be enough for Romo, a rebuild would benefit them a lot more than to continue paying that man however many millions he is on.

About time Vick retired is it not? I can't see many takers for him.

Can drop back somewhere into the top five and still get Anthony Barr or Jadeveon Clowney or whoever. Plan.

Or trade the pick for Michael Vick? :o

Nah, he'll get a job somewhere. There are so many teams in need of someone under centre, he's got another 2/3 injury plagued years ahead of him still.

Still love the bloke though, despite me not really appreciating his ability anymore.

Interesting stats.

Would love to see how Aaron Rodgers matches up against these two in all of these departments.

Knowing the history of Atlanta sports, we'll somehow manage to win out and get the #14 pick.

Jackson & McCoy are looking like they've hit the reset button now:

Jackson, 2012 - 11 games, 700 yds, 2 TDs
Jackson, 2013 - 11 games, 985 yds, 7 TDs

McCoy, 2012 - 12 games, 840 yds, 2 TDs
McCoy, 2013 - 11 games, 1009 yds, 5 TDs

*boring stat alert*

The play calling has utilized them so much better this year and having Foles under centre means we have a guy who can stand in the pocket and make the most out of their natural abilities. Also we've had backups step up which has taken the pressure off our main weapons, Bryce Brown has done alright, nothing special, but relieves some of the carrying duties from Shady. Riley Cooper has been our stand out player this year, Defences have no choice but to respect his deep threat which means DJax is getting more time and less coverage at times. Once we get Maclin back next year we should be able to move the chains and put up some high scores.

Despite our D actually being pretty good this season, I'm hoping that Chip takes some Defensive players in the draft, and hopefully one's that are NFL ready so he can plug them straight in next season.

But, this is the Philadelphia Eagles we are talking about, a good thing usually and very quickly turns bad.

With all that being said, we top the division :hi:

You say the game against us was too big for Foles and you say there is no QB problem? I think you said it yourself there in one post.

Romo severely pissed me off in the Denver game (one you forgot to mention). Effectively losing the game for us but he's done well since then one ot the top QB's this season. The stats don't lie.

Jaz...... Foles was playing injured against the Girls. .. groin injury.. apart from that game he has ranged from very solid to the down right spectacular. ... imvho... a massive upgrade on the dog killer :)

Fair play. I just remember all the early season uncertainty. Couldn't care much to watch many Filly games in truth. Brings me out in a rash.

I admit we have flattered to decieve at times but I think Swanny was looking from his green tinted spectacles as there is something about Dallas this year. The thrashing at the hands of the Saints apart, we have lost the other four games late on this season and that to me is far more competitive than we have been in recent years. And dare I say it, this new contract for Romo is making him play like a QB should.

Hey, the specs suit me! I try to look at everything down the middle when I chat on here as you're quickly pulled up on stuff. It's almost guaranteed that top spot in the not so beastly NFC East is between us two and that it'll go down to the last game of the season at your gaff, that being said, I think you guys have more chance of fluffing your lines in the run up to that game especially if Mr Rogers is back for the Packers in week 15.
