The Saints will destroy the Legion of PEDs.

And it's disappointing how little is made of this in the media.

Sherman, got off on a technicality
Browner, Facing a year suspension - caught 3 times.
Thurmond. 4 week suspension.

Performance Enhancers on their way around that locker room.

I for one am hoping the Saints get beat.

No doubt the suspensions are merited and reflect badly on the Seahawks, however some of you need to comprehend the difference between PED's and substance abuse (See Thurmond, W and Browner, B). As far as I know, smoking a little lettuce isn't going to help you cover and tackle any better! Benefits of living in WA state, I guess
On to the battle of the good guy QB's ( both real and fake ones - Thanks Funk…)

Next you'll be saying it's adderall.

They're all on PEDs. The league should be revealing what they are charged for.

Vince Hilaire's Afro 28-11-2013 09:06 AM

I know someone who was addicted to adderall. At the time, they would have been able to single handedly bust open most NFL defenses.

don't think so sunshine!!

Seahawks signed Cornerback Perrish Cox on Tuesday to add depth after Thurmond and Browner made fools of themselves taking drugs. they then released him on the Wednesday and called up DeShawn Shead from the practice squad all a bit odd but as i'm still new to this I have no idea if this is normal or not. It certainly doesn't feel normal.

Cowboys are coming!!! The third game on Nov 9th 2014!!

jazman 29-11-2013 10:44 AM

Cowboys 7&5 after 'bundling' another win .... :lux:
Terrible first half for us but impressive drive to end it setting us up nicely for the second.
Massive games for Murray and Dunbar, the latter injured which hopefully isn't serious but it looked like it might be ...
Romo continues his great form too which is pleasing. Bring on the Bears after a decent break.
Over to the Cards to do us a favour ...

Bundled your way through the first half! Second half was much improved. You have a solid offense if they take the game away from Romo and put it in the hands of Murray & Dunbar, who might I add, I was very impressed with last night, that kid runs hard! Wow! Dunbar could walk in to a starters job at a lot of teams in the NFL.

Good win though, hard fought and deserved in the end, however much that pains me to say. Was really hoping the Raiders would be out of sight by half time but they weren't and crumbled in the second half.

I do think that Romo has to take a lot of credit though. Since his massive stats in the Denver game was ruined by his INT which lost us the game, he has been in great form. The stats don't lie, he is one of the top QBs this season.

Murray and Dunbar all the work last night and the latter is a real find.

Interestingly, the article about playing on Thursday nights was real interesting. I always wondered that about NFL but hearing the players saying how much they need their recovery time brings it home. Tired players will get injured, that much is obvious.

Yeah, bit of an eye opener that segment, to hear Jarrod Allan say that it isn't usually till friday when you get over the previous games bumps and bruises surprised me. I hate Thursday games with a passion, don't mind them for Thanksgiving but the rest of the time they aren't needed and makes Sunday's less interesting, especially for 9pm games as there is not only 2 or 3 each week which is rubbish.

The comms picked up on the fact that on the flight home from New York last Sunday, Romo was watching Raiders footage to get a headstart to be ready for the game last night.

Like you say, Thanksgiving is different but every Thursday throughout the season is tough from what you hear in the article. I was suprised to but watching games you can see the hits these players take and give out. They did say that Thursday night games are supposed to be close i.e. location or divisional (much the same)

Just imagining the headlines and rage on NFL and ESPN if Belichick had pulled the Tomlin stunt last night...

Should be suspended for a game IMO.

That's what i'm talking about.

Funk Butter 29-11-2013 07:01 PM

If Jason Kidd gets a $50K fine for "accidentally" spilling his drink on the court, Tomlin should be suspended at least a game. How he didn't even get a penalty is ridiculous, when the Jets got a penalty a couple of weeks ago for being on the white line.
