Some very odd play calling tonight by the 9ers

CT_Palace 24-12-2013 04:36 AM

YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! :lux: :lux:

You will laugh but we have no chance of beating Filly now. Romo is the man for the Cowboys, and while he has his critics and doubters he has had a great season. We will miss him in the final game. Orton it is and one other depending on how they decide to bring in.

And no Tim Tebow. I don't want you anywhere near my team.

Vince Young?
Matt Leinaert?
Brady Quinn?
JaMarcus Russell?
Vinny Testaverde?
David Carr?

;)

The RG3 trade is looking like a masterstroke for the Rams. We could end up with number one pick!

We have Jimmy Clausen if you are desperate. ;) He can't run, he can't throw, he can't even catch a football, and his attitude sucks big time, but he's after some game time. ;)

To be honest, I don't get the need for another QB other than to back up Orton. he has been at Dallas for a couple of years now and knows the playbook and the players come to that. He has the experience but perhaps not the ability. Glowing reference of him from Urlacher though.

Fans are mad to be calling for a QB to be brought in and play. It's Orton, no question.

A lot of unfair talk about RGIII from what I have read... The guy had a nasty injury yet he is getting slated for his "poor season".

The Rams do seem to have got lucky though. Will they draft a QB at number 1?

I have no idea... They probably just want a starter. Orton was ok at Chicago and Denver and you could do a lot worse. It is only one game anyway so I don't see the fuss. There really is a dearth of QB quality about at the moment... No one you would really want in your hour of need.

I doubt that very much. They seem committed to Bradford. It should be interesting to see what he can do now we`ve got a running game?

A lot of vocal fans, and this guy, are idiots.

No. Clowney or an OT (Matthews from Texas A&M seems to be the best available).

It can be no-one else but Orton. Fans do talk a load of crap sometimes. Who and how they think there is this QB out there that is good enough and happens to not have a team to come in a do a job that Orton can't in a one off game. NFL is different to most sports in that the playbook is an integral part of planning.

Not anymore!

Bradford is due a lot of money next season.

I think they move down to 4 or 5 and try and pick up an extra 2nd or something from someone desperate for Bridgewater.

We waived him but didn't he come back to us as no one wanted him? Lol.

davematt 24-12-2013 11:27 AM

Phew, that was closer than it should have been.

But great way to finish up at such an iconic venue.

I was lucky to watch the Niners a couple of times at the Stick; a proper old school stadium.

Bring on the Play Offs :p

You gotta be in it to win it! :lux:

Latvian Eagle 24-12-2013 11:29 AM

How comes the Niners are moving?
