OT.

Go SD!

pauldrulez 04-01-2009 10:58 AM

So, Phillip Rivers is obviously not as bad as people were saying the other week.

Darren Sproles. Unrestricted Free Agent in the summer.

LaDainian Tomlinson. Certified pussy

And after last night I love Darren Sproles too, so much that even with my hatred of Philip Rivers I can't begrudge the Chargers their big OT win. What a game.

I want Sproles at the Patriots. He was Number 3 in my wishlist but he has displaced Gonzalez at 2 with that.

I wish I had got that powder blue shirt before Wembley now. :(

Is this the greatest picture of all-time?

hello everyone hope you are all well

just back in time from snowboarding to see the games last night. what a couple of cracking games. colts threw it away though. crazy! i want sproles in dc next season!

pauldrulez 04-01-2009 01:14 PM

You can fight us for him. We were originally interested last off-season but didn't want to trade for him.

I got 20/21

And the one I got wrong was KR yards. I was dead lucky on KR TDs as well. Went through most of the league including the other guy on his team.

I would name them, but I wont. I've got a screencap of my answers that i'll post after you've all had a go :hi:

LT - Certfied Pussy... If the guy is injured, he's injured end of Paul!

Sproules had a great game last night but the fact is (from what I heard last week) is that his rushing TD last week was the first by any Charger except LT since December last year. Considering Sproules is meant to be amazing, getting your first rushing TD in the last game of the season doesn't exactly put you that high IMO. (But yes he obviously has potential).

Pleased the Chargers won! I had Indy to win it purely because Manning has been hot recently, but last night reminded me why I don't like the Colts so much, because they think they're better than they really are! My missus will be happy and probably wearing her powder blue Rivers jersey today! :D

pauldrulez 04-01-2009 01:31 PM

He is always injured.

Pull out of the 45 that play if you are hurt.

pauldrulez 04-01-2009 01:37 PM

And Sproles had 5 Receiving Touchdowns from 29 receptions as that was what he was being used for in the Red Zone rather than running it.

I compare him to a pocket Kevin Faulk (despite DS being 2ins smaller). Can do anything and everything.

Neither are really big enough to be Goal Line backs, but this year Sproles averaged 5.4yds per carry. 11.8 per reception.
Faulk averaged 7.5yds per carry with 8.4 per reception.

Both great for Screen passes and Draw plays.

If you're telling the truth that's almightily impressive... and you spend even more time looking at stats then I do. :p :D

I managed 13 out of 21. Couldn't get:
Rushing TDs
Kick Return Yards
Kick Return TDs
Tackles (how in the blue hell did you know that one??!)
Interceptions
Def TDs
Forced Fumbles
Total TDs

jlmatthews 04-01-2009 06:04 PM

Good luck Fins Fans. Don't see you winning this afternoon... but you never know...

jlmatthews 04-01-2009 06:11 PM

I got 13 as well. My mind went absolutely blank on a couple of the categories!

Strathclyde Eagle 04-01-2009 06:49 PM

Not a good start IMO. Am much happier when the Ravens are choosing to pass, they seem to be getting healthy enough yardage when they're running it. Am pleased to be tied at 3 early in the 2nd.

Strathclyde Eagle 04-01-2009 06:54 PM

Interception. Ravens in Fins territory again. :(

Strathclyde Eagle 04-01-2009 06:57 PM

Feel free to bring in Troy Smith again.

Very predictable on that occasion.

davematt 04-01-2009 07:07 PM

TD Ravens!

Strathclyde Eagle 04-01-2009 07:08 PM

I knew Rushing TDs because of the 2 duos trying to outdo each other in Tennessee and Carolina.
KR TDs, knew it was Oakland but went for Higgins first. Stupid fact that I knew.
Interceptions as you now know Ed Reed is the master.
Same with Def TDs.
Fumbles was a guess that I got in the last few seconds.
TDs, went for a few Running Backs as there werent any receivers with 18 TDs and not many got Rushing TDs as well.

Tackles is the funny one. I looked at Beason, Willis and Mayo as comparison for my stats sheets for the blog (which I have forgotten about and need to get up to date. And found out the answer that way.

Its weird, I know quite a few weird stats for no reason :)
