Damn it, that was the other name that made sense when I was thinking last night but I didn't post it in the end ... One year deal has been confirmed today ... Interesting.

Plenty of time to undermine Dick Jauron then.

Jauron is a horrible coach. I mean really bad.

I didn't mean it like someone had "told" me - I meant when you consider what had happened within the teams, what personnel they have and what they require, they are the best fits.

saxoneagle 08-03-2009 05:28 PM

Ah, all three teams in our division DESERVE TO so I suppose I'm not disappointed - I am surprised though. :D

nookiebear 08-03-2009 07:51 PM

TO obviously fancies another couple of games off each season - you know, those game when he gets totally shut down by Shawn Springs.

Great character who will be missed in the NFC East.

pauldrulez 08-03-2009 08:06 PM

Excellent :p

nookiebear 10-03-2009 11:04 AM

Wow, Pats give a crocked 34-year-old a three year contract.

saxoneagle 10-03-2009 11:47 AM

Honestly, I'm please with everyone we have signed and re-signed so far. I'm also one of the few which is satisfied with a 2nd rounder for Cassel. Pick 34 in the draft will do us just fine to fit our needs.

We're taking an 11-5 team and adding Brady, hopefully. Fingers crossed.

My Cards supporting pal has returned from the US and said that it is likely that Warner will sign for the 49ers ... anyone else any news on this? I thought he ended speculation and re-signed with the Cards at the end of last week ...

nookiebear 10-03-2009 12:29 PM

Yes, I thought he'd agreed a deal with the Cards

Springs is great, Saxon, when fit - three years though seems a lot though. Even the Redskins are learning from those kind of mistakes this season :)

He has already re-signed. Also agreed to a salary drop of $1m if they get Boldin to re-sign, too, allegedly!

We'll see if he can stay fit then. Given almost all of our D missed games at some point last season, he might fit in well :hmph::D

Indeed. He's a player who I've kept a bit of an eye on cos I find him quite interesting. I cheer when he does well etc.

He's a very interesting person actually.
