Yes you are :)

No way I'm staying up until 4am for a friendly!

pauldrulez 13-08-2009 11:10 PM

I am :)

Every intention of preparing for the season by getting the practice in now :D

I'll be asleep by the half.

Then next week, I hope to make it to the 3rd Q, week after, 4th Q and the final pre-season game I aim to complete the game

;)

Swanny32 14-08-2009 12:42 AM

Well I'll catch the highlights on the Eagles site tomorrow. I have an 8am start so no chance I'm staying up! Enjoy Paul!

elliott 14-08-2009 12:46 AM

Even in the reg season I'm gonna have to leave it and watch a replay after. Which means I might have to try and ignore the result for a day or two. Which is physically impossible given the websites I frequent.

pauldrulez 14-08-2009 12:58 AM

Brady scores :)

Touchdown to Baker.

Not good for Eagles

Sheldon Brown hurt on first drive.

Ellis Hobbs replaces him and then gets hurt.

Brown back in for final play of 2nd drive though.

Brady had all day to find Chris Baker.

BREAKING NEWS:

Michael Vick is going to be.

A Philadelphia Eagle.

pauldrulez 14-08-2009 01:39 AM

2 year contract.

Celek hurt for Eagles as well now. D-Lineman (not Klecko) playing there now.

pauldrulez 14-08-2009 01:48 AM

Nearing half-time and i'm not tired at all :D

21-6 now. 2 x Brady to Baker. Few bombs to Moss, one intercepted.

Edelman (7th rounder) returned a punt to the house and has been in the Welker role all game. Looks good.

No sign of Nunn yet, so might stay up and wait for that.

Eagles O-Line looks awful.

One more reason to want to see the Eagles lose, then.

Bellyman 14-08-2009 08:37 AM

Pats 27 - 25 Eagles

Close game by the sounds of it....hope there wasn't any major injuries!

pauldrulez 14-08-2009 09:51 AM

I watched until the half which is when my stream went down.

Seen some highlights and asked a few people who stayed up for it.

Without Brady, they couldn't move the ball. But, they ran a few running plays on 3rd down so it may have been to Punt the ball a few times and get the long snappers a few goes since they are competing for 1 job.

OUCH for Dallas.

pauldrulez 14-08-2009 09:55 AM

As I said. Edelman is a lot like Welker

Quote:

The 2007 NFL MVP completed his first pass and threw an incompletion in his first series. Brady handed off on his first play before tossing a 6-yard pass to Wes Welker out of a shotgun formation. On third-and-4, Brady's pass for Joey Galloway was broken up.
Wes didn't enter the field of play, once ;)

Eagles were unlucky. 2nd string O-Line better than their first. Peters was awful. Beaten by Banta-Cain, Woods, a few of our safeties and Burgess. All who got hits on McNabb. Lucky he was taken out of the game when he was. Or he would have been hurt.

Now, to get rid of O'Connell from my Fantasy team.

Wow. A team I really dislike sign a player I really dislike :)

Skins lost 23-0 last night in Baltimore. No Moss, Portis, Rogers, Haynesworth

starters didn't see much action

Campbell played two series - both failed on third down because camp fodder Wide receiver Hagans dropped both passes

Lot of camp fodder got chances. Depth looks like the usual issue. 5th choice corner Tryon got burned all game

Starting O-line looked better than expected, reports say

It was 3-0 when the starters were in

But just like this BBS after the Norwich game, the Redskins boards are in meltdown this morning :D

ardeo 14-08-2009 10:04 AM

A shutout is still a shutout :)

pauldrulez 14-08-2009 10:12 AM

At least you lost to the losers of the AFC Champs game.

Where's Jaz.

The Oakland Vaders Jaz, THE RAIDERS. Jeez.

We'll get our house in order.

I wonder how safe the canine population of Philly are feeling tonight ;)

AddiscombeEagle 14-08-2009 10:37 AM

Ravens boards are happy this morning.

Oher was meant to have looked pretty good.

ardeo 14-08-2009 10:40 AM

If we can actually put a team out this season i'll be impressed, just waiting for McNabb to get injured and Vick to play. That would completely ruin my season :(

pauldrulez 14-08-2009 11:00 AM

Any news on Celek and Hobbs?

Celek's looked bad.

Maroney rolled over Hobbs's leg when he was running, tripped and landed down by the goal line.

Eagles should have won easily in the second half. If you ever cut Feely, i'd take him straight away. And I doubt you keep 4 QB's with Kolb as the future apparently.

We can't move the ball without Brady (I said that last year and was wrong). Walter will be cut. Moss hates him from Oakland and he confuses himself nearly every play.

Jackson and Maclin looked good. Same with Shady.

Swanny32 14-08-2009 01:16 PM

I have a higher expectation of what AJ Feeley has to offer us than Kolb, especially after playing with Kolb on Madden 10 last night! He's terrible! Nice to hear Maclin made a couple of receptions last night, I just hope the injuries we have aren't too bad otherwise our season is going to be over before it's even begun.

Can someone round up last nights scores? I'm a bit busy believe it or not.
