Screw Myron Pryor, but GO DARRYL RICHARD! He went to Georgia Tech, gonna root for him.

And F**K Favre. I can't believe the Vikings are really gonna screw up their team this much. You gotta figure that Jackson is gone and Sage Rosenfels isn't gonna get any better sitting on the bench until he's 33. So what the hell is their plan? They must be trying to piss this season completely away, so they can draft one of the top QBs next year, then give him time to watch all the mistakes you shouldn't make then bring him in in 2011. That's the only reason I can think of signing Favre to $25M over 2 years. Stupid.

pauldrulez 20-08-2009 10:55 PM

Not to ruin your dream.

Pryor was 7th round and Richard was a 6th round pick.

Pryor has been on and off the Starting Offense. Richard has been on and off the field in a boot.

Good Luck to them both.

Agree with you on Favre.

Would it be wrong to say:

Brett Favre could be the worst Starting QB in the NFC North. (If Stafford is starting, and I wasn't a fan of Stafford).

Rodgers = the best in the division. Then Cutler. Then Stafford and then Favre.

I have one spare ticket for the NFL game at Wembley in October. Face value of £75 I think, lowever tier endzone. PM me if anyone's interested, family commitments mean I now cannot go, dont want to see it go to waste

pauldrulez 21-08-2009 09:50 AM

Brady got absolutely crunched last night by Gaithers (sp?)

Nice to see him take the hit and get up gingerly and carry on though.

He looked pretty shocking though. Missed 4 open receivers including 2 for Touchdowns. But, the rust is to be expected.

All about Ocho Cinco. That guy is damn funny.

elliott 21-08-2009 10:17 AM

Chad = Legend.

pauldrulez 21-08-2009 10:58 AM

He kicked off as well.

No penalties or any of that. He boomed it inside the 10.

Felix Jones looked very good indeed, no question about it.

For those going to the International Series this year who will be going to the Tailgate?

Just been reading on nfluk.com about tailgate tickets, and this is all i could find.

If you bought your International Series tickets via Club Wembley, here's what you need to do in order to get tickets to Tailgate:

- When you ordered your tickets you should have been given a six-digit confirmation code by Club Wembley, starting with a number between 48 and 60.

- Email your name, the confirmation code, and the number of tailgate tickets you require (which can only be as many as the number of game tickets you bought as a maximum) to tailgateuk@nfl.com.

- Ensure you put --Club Wembley Tailgate application-- as the subject line of your email.

Are tickets still available

My stepson is having a party at the Panthers/Bank of America stadium on Sunday.

Alas no tour of the changing rooms because there's a preseason game that weekend, but I'll try and post up some pics beginning of next week for anyone who's interested.

Probably only Latvian Eagle.

I'd like to think that they would be a patch on the true tailgate parties but I doubt that they will ... maybe they will suprise me ... but I won't have the time due to having the kids while the missus will be working ... will be meeting up at Victoria first for a few beers before moving on to Wembley anyhow ...

Bellyman 25-08-2009 08:56 AM

How many people are going (from the BBS)????

nookiebear 25-08-2009 10:02 AM

Ben and I are with some friends of mine

Swanny32 25-08-2009 11:25 AM

I have applied for Tailgate tickets however the original email they sent to everyone didn't ask you to respond with how many tickets you required. Ah well, i'm not too bothered about going to it.

elliott 25-08-2009 05:16 PM

Just to let you know, Sanchez sucked just as much in real life as he did on telly.

And the game was great fun. Would do it again straight away. Got loads of free merch too.

Photos and videos to come shortly!

pauldrulez 25-08-2009 08:18 PM

:p

For those without NFLN, how many plays did Lewis and Reed play? Were they still in when Clemens was picked off (middle 2nd quarter I think?).

What was the atmosphere like?

elliott 25-08-2009 10:26 PM

Pregame the atmosphere was awesome. Absolutely belting.

And then it died about the end of the first. By the end of the 3rd it was almost 3/4 empty. So we moved to the front.

Beer was $8 a can, but that didn't stop people. Loads of people were drunk.

The end was awesome too.

I wasn't really paying too much attention to what was going on personnel wise, nor was I really paying attention to the D (why would I???). The most part I was just considering how woeful the offenses were, and how poor some of the blocking was. Jets left side excluded though.

Doing my photos now.
