Eagles picked up Tony Curtis after the Fins released him, any good Ben?
I have also just seen that Venus and Serena Williams have invested in the Fins! |
Sky are being very quiet about what games they're going to show, aren't they?
Any idea when the schedule is released? Thanks to twitter, etc, I've taken a lot more interest this season in training camp and the battles for a spot on the roster Looks like the Redskins have a gem in Marko Mitchell, a 6ft 4 rookie wide receiver, who was drafted in the 7th round. He's being tipped for a roster spot and is playing as well as 2nd rounders Kelly and Thomas in pre-season. |
I don't know what sky have but Five have got: -
Sunday September 13 Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers Sunday September 20 New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys Sunday September 27 Indianapolis Colts @ Arizona Cardinals Sunday October 4 San Diego Chargers @ Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday October 11 Indianapolis Colts @ Tennessee Titans Sunday October 18 Chicago Bears @ Atlanta Falcons Sunday October 25 Arizona Cardinals @ New York Giants Sunday November 1 TBC (World Series) Sunday November 8 Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles Sunday November 15 New England Patriots @ Indianapolis Colts |
November 9th off work for me then :)

At least that was what PFT were saying the other day and a few tweets. Roy Williams is hurt. Early rumours were broken collarbone, but remains unconfirmed. |
Oh, and the intelligent Eagles fans booed McNabb and chanted for Vick after an interception.
 |

Kelly had bad knees last season, hence why he hardly played. He's had a several operations now and seems to be sorted. DeSean Jackson was the exception to the rule last season - wide receivers normally struggle in year one. Even Jerry Rice hardly played Kelly has impressed this pre-season and is expected now to be our no2 receiver, with Randle El moving to the slot where he is supposed to be He is tall and has good hands, and I think will come good |
Going old school:

It's true, our fans are very fickle indeed, everyone knows that though. I wouldn't say I am McNabb's biggest fan but I certainly wouldn't boo him after one turnover, in a pre season game. Give it a season or two and I wouldn't mind betting that Vick is our starting QB and McNabb will be used as bait for a big name receiver.

This is Paul. I just can't be arsed to log my Dad in and out. I wish he wouldn't Feck around with the laptop and log me out.
3rd pre-season game. Starters play into 3rd Quarter. Brady against the Skins D-Line. This could be interesting. And I have a legendary stream. Good stuff. |
Eagles/Jags game looked pretty good from the highlights on Total Access last night ...
One thought, with the influx of rookies each year I guess there is a large number of players finding themselves in the opposite psition each year, more so I would have thought that football in the UK. |

Enjoyed the highlights. Amazing what Campbell can do with more options in front of him and a bit of protection - 200 yards against the Patriots in a half. There's some people on the Skins messageboards who I think have been inspired by some of the people on this BBS After he went 1 for 7 for 10 yards against the Steelers, the Campbell haters were saying, "pre-season is more important than people make out, Campbell needs to deliver against the Patriots or he should be benched for Brennan. he's useless, etc, etc" When he throws for 200 yards and runs in a TD in a half against the Pats' starters, they say, "yeah, but it's only pre-season" :veryangry :S: Anyway, I always like watching Brady despite who he plays for ;) (looks good I think). Enjoyed Haynesworth taking out Brady. Can't wait to see him have a pop at Romo :) My man crush for Marko Mitchell continues. Two receptions for the 7th round pick, including a TD and awesome blocking on the long pass to Cooley. I think the Skins have a tidy (yet v tall) weapon at 5th wide receiver. |

Revenge may just be that little bit sweeter ... The NFC BEast is still the toughest division ... |

Brady looked shaken up by the hit. Albert creamed him. Shows just how good that guy is. Brady and Moss were simply awesome. The 1st TD. That wasn't the play that was called. No audible, just a look across to Moss and a hand signal. And he was gone. Great to see. I'll be back in half hour |

Sneaks away, hopes no-one actually saw me that evening. |

I think you can argue that the AFC East and South could argue for being the toughest division.
I think the Colts and Titans may drop away a bit whereas the Texans will improve. Going back to Nooks and the Redskins. Campbell. There was very little pressure on him and he was getting the throws away, but pretty slowly. Made a great throw to Moss on the sideline. Brilliant catch as well. Very good coverage, but a perfect throw where only Moss could get it. His stats are inflated by an incredibly blown coverage on Cooley for 74 yards. He was so far open that 2 corners, the nickel back and a safety were all on the other side of the field and the other safety (Merriweather) was blitzing but tripped). On the negative side for him, when there was pressure and Moss was covered, he didn't really move or take the sack. On one play, he turned his back on the pressure and lobbed the ball in the air. Didn't even look. By pure luck for him, Bodden was looking the wrong way and covering Kelly and by the time he turned, he'd missed the ball. He faked Lenon out of his boots for the scrambled TD. Showed good presence came towards the line of scrimmage and faked it and ran in by the pylon. First game where the secondary have been banged up a bit. We ended up having to send out Wilhite again (has been wearing non-contact jersey in practice for 3 weeks and was knocked out of the game in late 1st quarter). Luckily he took an Interception to the House. And celebrated with a Michael Jackson tribute. Good stuff. And he beat TO, Ocho Cinco and the rest to it. :D |
