Well same surname anyway :moo: |
How's Ellis "play 25 yards off the receiver" doing?
Every play i've seen against the Eagles has been him being beat deep despite playing miles off the receiver. |
Haven't watched any pre season games so couldn't comment, does well for me on Madden though
|
Philly get to keep Alex Smith without sending us a pick. You can have him. Struggled to be 4th TE. Another wasted 5th rounder.
Another intelligent NFL player: Quote:

Nope.
Cable still saying it's to do with the Patriots. The Patriots basically told him where to go and the trade has been completed :D |
Ocho Cinco still yabbering on about Twitter.
I use twitter. A lot. To check out news, NFL stuff, Palace stuff and music people. But, should he not be concentrating on the game rather than trying to communicate with a fan to tweet messages from him. |
Oh, and my final comment before I disappear to work.
Trent Edwards is going to be hurt badly this year. As Mike Mayock said "His Offensive Line. Most of them don't even have armpit hair yet". I think TO will not be in a good mood come week 2. |
I am officially excited :)
|
I'm looking forward to tonight, hopefully will be able to find a good stream. Off work tomorrow so i can watch it!

Total Access very interesting last night. Micheal Irvine predicted the Pats as certs to win the AFC ... never really concluded on NFC but did say Giants to win NFC BEast ...
|
Speaking of predictions, I think we should each predict our team's final records on this thread and say in a couple of sentences why we think it'll go down that way
Then look back in December and see how right we were :) |
Eagles 10-6
because an awesome offence, decent defence should give us plenty of wins, but a tough division will ensure some losses, and a difficult run in, may see a few games dropped, or possibly players rested for the playoffs. |

Patriots - 12-4. One divisional Loss. Lose to Saints. Our week 14 game (when Gisele drops her sprog) and Texans in week 17. I think we start 10-0. Lose @Phins, @Saints, vs Panthers, @Houston. |

The game is on Sky Sports tonight. I thought I had read that they didn't have the rights to show the opener ... Happy days though ... :lux:

OK...
Redskins 10&6 Biased fanboy? maybe. But No4 Defense upgraded with Haynesworth and Orakpo. Last season's special teams woes sorted. Campbell and Zorn playing for their careers. Campbell now has legit options to throw to - 5 wide receivers and two tight ends as opposed to 2 wide receivers and 1 tight end last season. Easy start to schedule should help momentum - roster upgrades, etc, mean we won't lose the easy games we did last season (Bengals, 49ers, Rams debacles) :) |

Last year was an aberration, albeit a beautiful one. This year, with the toughest schedule in the league, I'll be happy with six wins. BONUS! I rate your teams... Patriots 15-1 They're all pissed over what happened last year. And when the Pats are pissed, they win. Which is pretty scray for the rest of us. Redskins 8-8 An injury to Portis and their running game's bollixed. Which is terrible news, because in that system Jason Campbell can't win 10 games. Still good enough to go 50/50. Eagles 8-8 Clown club, but one that will win a few games so long as McNabb stays healthy. |
