With no pro day, a year out of football, a bad attitude, wants big bucks.

The guy is a dick.

Rey Maualuga would have been taken by Washington at #13 if Orakpo had been gone (100% on that by the way), he dropped 25 spots to #38, he isn't complaining about losing $10m+

Idiot.

I heard somewhere the other day that Crabtree has been offered 19 million or a figure somewhere in that region but if he falls back into the draft which is looking more and more likely then he can expect to receive, if he is lucky, 6 million next season, and that's at a push. You have to wonder what idiots are influencing this guy! Sign on the dotted line with the 49ers, take your money, play some football, prove a point and build a career around being the best, not a career for being a whiny, greedy little bitch.......maybe he idolizes TO??!

jlmatthews 23-09-2009 12:48 AM

It was a record for least time of possession for a winning team.

Was a very strange game from the word go. Pretty entertaining though.

davematt 23-09-2009 06:01 AM

The 49ers are 2-0 right now having beaten TWO Divisional rivals. Crabtree is coming off worse right now; he should just sign and get on with playing football. As many have said, with a year without ANY football, he isnt going to be as hot come April 2010 and the Draft...

I would rather say that he is being advised very badly indeed ...

By the way, is the Niners RB Gore looking like a the new AP? Great performance against Seattle ...

Swanny32 23-09-2009 09:27 AM

Gore also picked up an injury against Seattle! Good news for whoever is up against him this weekend in the fantasy football

We're back.

Trip was incredible.

Atmosphere for Monday Night Football unlike anything I've ever experienced before.

Both buzzing and shattered!

jazman 23-09-2009 11:23 AM

Good work Ben. Any pics?

Swanny32 23-09-2009 11:38 AM

Very jealous Ben although can't say i'd have wanted to be at that Foreskins game.

As did Marion the Barber when he would probably made it to the end zone ...

Glad you enjoyed it, shame about the result for you, but that's football I guess.

Where did you sit?

Felix Jones in my fantasy team

Tashard Choice picked up for fantasy team.

:lux:

I don't know if there is a video of it somewhere, but Patrick Pass (ex-patriot), was running for the end-zone, pulled a muscle and dropped the ball. Recovered by the D. :D

oi ;)

Was a cracking weekend

Both games interesting for different reasons

Ben was in hysterics at me having kittens during the Redskins game. Four failures in the redzone. Ouch

The official tailgate was a laff. We got to see cheerleaders, devoured our body weight in hotdogs and chicken

Ben quite rightly pointed out that the Redskins found as many ways as possible to shoot themselves in the foot. Penalties (including an awful roughing the passer in the first half after we'd recovered a Rams fumble in their own 20), bad play calling in the red zone and dropped passes in the endzone all contrived to an epic fail on offense despite Campbell playing a stormer. The Skins lacked the killer instinct

Which brings me nicely to the Fish on Monday night. They too lacked the killer instinct. On a couple of key plays it was almost like they didn't believe themselves they could win it.

The decision to run it on 3rd and 6 was madness. As a neutral, it was incredible watching Mr Manning do his magic, though. And the atmosphere was electric, really special. It was my turn to be in hysterics at Mr Wilson, who'd told me for three days how he didn't care about the result and would just enjoy the day, to only then becoming a nervous wreck in the last five minutes :)

And it was very amusing watching several fights break out amongst boozed-up Dolphins fans during the first quarter. Like being down the Millwall :)

We were both disappointed that the Skins and Fins fans both booed when things went wrong.

The Skins, Dolphins and Colts had some ridiculously fit female fans, but I think the Colts shaded it. Some of them were absolutely stunners and happy to be drunk and abusive at Fins fans which again was quite amusing :)

For me, Monday night Football was like seeing your team for the first time, it was incredible, and my mission now is to see the Redskins on a Monday night.

Already looking at who we're playing next season for another trip!

Swanny32 23-09-2009 07:32 PM

Im in the process of planning a trip to Philly next season, I have a friend who lives a couple of hours away from the Linc and has agreed to put Me, Ardeo and my Uncle up for a week, show us the sights and sounds of New York and Ocean City as well as take us to an Eagles game and a Phillies game providing of course both teams are playing at home when we are out there. I'm so excited its unbelievable, just can't bare the thought of having to wait a whole year! Now that you have recommended monday night football so highly guys I think I might have to pick a week when we are playing on Monday, problem is that would restrict us to the amount of time we can spend in New York and Ocean City. It's going to be an action packed week that for sure, why can't it be now though!

Love the review Nooks, makes me want to go even more. If I had a friend with money or a Dad without a criminal record(arguing with stewards/police in the 80s) , i'd go this year. Don't fancy it alone and don't fancy paying for anyone this year.

Ah well, will settle for the Vikings or Ravens or Packers home game next year.

Let's spot everyone who doesn't follow Ben on Twitter. ;)

Seems he had very good seats. I had similar seats in that stadium... for a Braves trip there... which cost $25 each and were still available about six hours before the first pitch. (Difference in appeal to the locals it seems.)

2010 will be a great year - when we finally turf the stupid Marlins out and Joe Robbie Stadium returns to being used primarily for what it was intended.

pauldrulez 23-09-2009 09:52 PM

:D

I've started following you, Strathers :hi:, and Nooks and Ben.

Forgot to add BBS'ers to my huge list of tweeters.

Swanny32 23-09-2009 10:44 PM
