:D I'm just annoyed I stayed up to watch that shite ... although I did think Hurd was going to bring it back for us there

sLlll 05-10-2009 12:33 AM

I thought Romo would have tried one of his runs when near the goal line and we'd force overtime. I had both game on a pause tv system so I fast forwarded a lot of the in play delays and the commentary.

I got lucky today. I did watch the game against NY Giants live and that did not help me sleep easily at 4.30am lol!

Agreed.

Great comment by Rodney Harrison at halftime of the Steelers - Chargers debacle, "Horrible call. Take off the skirt, Tom Brady and grab some slacks. Toughen up."

Pleading for a flag then pumping your fist when you see the official grabbing his flag, embarrassing.

Steelers doing a great job to make this one interesting, most fans have gone home.

Chargers have the bit between the teeth, but time may be their biggest enemy.

Good week for the Panthers.

Swanny32 05-10-2009 08:52 AM

Glad the Cowgirls lost as it eases the pressure on us for the next couple of games, just wish the Giants even looked like losing.

jazman 05-10-2009 09:03 AM

So effing annoyed this morning. One player buggered it up for us yesterday .... I can't even bring myself to look at the other scores ...

nookiebear 05-10-2009 09:09 AM

Wasn't impressed with Romo. Looks like he is regressing

jazman 05-10-2009 09:15 AM

You and me both fella.

nookiebear 05-10-2009 10:05 AM

With the exception of a couple of QBs like Big Ben, most live and die by the weapons they throw to and their O-line play

Romo looks more average this season as I don't see who his big play threat is anymore. Williams is so hit and miss

Thought the Ravens Pats game was good last night, bit worried about our defense, looks a lot weaker than last year. Still gutted, Flacco had put together a good drive and the throw was perfect, still can’t believe he dropped it. The game was there. Hopefully we will meet in the play offs to put that result right. Penalties really didn’t help us last night, harsh call on Coach Harbaugh, that must happen in every game.

Impressed with the Pats though, especially Merriweather and the secondary.

Regarding the other game, Romo really is shite isn’t he, not a lot else to say on it.

jazman 05-10-2009 10:15 AM

I know, I know ... :sob:

I've rarely defended the guy on here to be fair ... (cue Paul to prove me wrong ...)

EagleSE24 05-10-2009 10:16 AM

Another good win for the Bears! Playoffs here we come.

jazman 05-10-2009 10:23 AM

I thought the Pats did just enough to win ... amazed that catch wasn't made by the Ravens later on ... liked the way the Ravens come back at you big style ... Any news on that tackle that left the game on a stretcher?

Swanny32 05-10-2009 10:42 AM

Head injury but was fine so I heard. They took him to hospital as a precaution.

jazman 05-10-2009 10:54 AM

Phew. Feared the worst when it took them so long to deal with him.

Swanny32 05-10-2009 11:26 AM

You could see him moving when he was on the stretcher, have to be very careful with head injurys

jazman 05-10-2009 11:48 AM

Did you see the Cutler TD? It was reminiscent of the tackle on QB Schaub last season that Paul dubbed the 'helicopter' ... :D

jazman 05-10-2009 01:26 PM
