Thanks to Allah, Buddha and John Travolta that I didn't watch the Falcons give up a late game winning TD drive to Ryan Tanneyhill. There would have been some property damage.

Maybe the Falcons just aren't very good this year?

This must have been posted before but I was only saw it at the weekend. Utter genius.

I'd put it on the college football thread but does anyone read that.

Well, with their starting LT, RT (out for the year), RB (Jackson out for weeks), DE (Biermann out for the year), OLB (Weatherspoon out until late November), CB all out it was gonna be tough. But when Roddy and Julio are both nursing injuries as well, it isn't good. The OL isn't good enough to hold off 4 man rushes, so defenses drop 7 into coverage. And Roddy isn't healthy enough to beat man coverage, so they can double team Gonzalez and Julio and slow the Falcons down big time. I'm actually surprised at how well the defense has done considering all the injuries. That doesn't excuse that final drive on Sunday. They obviously have to win this weekend now.

Glennon has the physical tools (I think) to be a starter, but at NC State was a little injury prone and borderline insane.

Good move.

Freeman won't be there next year regardless, go to know what you've got now before looking to go QB in what looks a QB deep draft.

Still think that the Freeman of 2010 is not dead and he will be a useful starter somewhere. Need to sort a lot of issues first though (and a personal one if the rumours are to be believed). Unfortunately that is not going to be at the Bucs.

Yep, going with Ardeo, my bro, cousin and a friend...playing golf in the morning though so not planning on being at Wembley till mid/late afternoon. Probably just walk around the tailgate for a while and see some cheerleaders till kick off. Then spend the next 3 hours cheering on the Vikings and losing my voice in time for work on Monday (which requires me to use my voice a lot)....hopefully I'll lose it enough to be able to pull a sicky!

Will be there with gingerob on Sunday, normally get dressed up with a NFL shirt as well but tempted to slob it out! Mainly because I have no idea where most of my Pats shirts are.

I can lend you an Eagles one?

pauldrulez 26-09-2013 02:55 PM

I'd rather hit myself with a baseball bat repeatedly...

I'm aware that an orderly queue is forming who would like to do that!

Swanny32 26-09-2013 04:27 PM

Buy a new one when you're there.

Bellyman 26-09-2013 10:46 PM

Anyone got any idea on who or what the pregame/half time artist is?

Also Chris, There is no Tailgate for the first game, they've called it Game Day Fan Plaza

http://www.nfluk.com/tickets-events/game-day-fan-plaza

But there will be a Tailgate at the October game

They sell Louisville Sluggers at Wembley?

Jaserob 27-09-2013 12:30 AM

I am super excited to see my Vikes play at Wembley on Sunday. Wish I could be there. I live around 8 miles from their home stadium so the Wembley trip is a little too far for me to watch a home game.

Go Vikes!!!

CT_Palace 27-09-2013 04:39 AM

watching Thursday night 49ers Rams game on NFL Network via a stream.

Am I glad I don't pay for the NFL Network!!!
The coverage and in particular the commentary is awful compared to the networks and ESPN

CT_Palace 27-09-2013 04:46 AM
