Roy Williams is outta there.

nookiebear 05-03-2009 05:58 PM

Gotta laugh. Web is now full of sites saying the Redskins should go after TO

Unbelievable. The press slag off the SKins when they sign free agents, then suggest going for that nutcase

Last night on NFL Replay I watched a re-run of the wildcard game in 1998 between the 49ers and the Packers. A young TO scored a game winning touchdown 3 seconds from time.

How about a return to the niners? Although I doubt Mike Singletary would want a player like TO and his off the field issues.

Classic, absolutely classic :D

Shawn Springs is reportedly expecting to sign for the Patriots ahead of the Eagles according to League sources and Mike Reiss (official beat writer of the Pats)

Like Philly, I think he overstayed his welcome in the Bay, too.

Free agency and draft talk all seems meaningless given the events of this week.

Great article in general. Pity something like this has to happen for stories like that to be told.

Williams is a prima donna too. That guy pissed, moaned and complained in Detroit more than any other player. I understand Detroit has been frustrating not just last year, but the past while... but still he is just a cock. Dropping easy balls and then complaining when it isn't coming his way every time the Q drops back. He is as much of a cancer as TO, IMHO.

Yeh. There's a long list of teams that he clearly won't be signing for!

Can't say that surprises or bothers me too much, although i'm sure we'll be looking at bringing in a replacement for Sheppard either through free agency or the draft.

ardeo 06-03-2009 11:48 AM

As long as McNabb is at Philly, TO isn't welcome, most Philly fans still bemoan the fact that we only got to the SB because of TO as No1 receiver and haven't had one since.

nookiebear 06-03-2009 12:01 PM

30/32 NFL teams have said they don't want TO, apparently. Including the Redskins :lux:

jazman 06-03-2009 12:12 PM

Total Access was pretty much dedicated to the TO news. And that was too much even for a Cowboys fan if I'm honest. Could have spent their time a little better I think and done a piece about the NFL players who lost their lives at sea ....

pauldrulez 06-03-2009 12:27 PM

Eagles fans.

Greg Lewis?

Good enough for 3rd WR, or just a battle in Camp at the Pats.

All I know his name from is the TD in the SB.

Please no.

I don't want this cancerous ego anywhere near Moss and Brady.

(Not the article, the picture)

I'm pretty sure we are one of the few not to say anything about Owens.

I'm hoping its just the way Belichick is and we say nothing. I don't want him.

That is all ;)

I will cry and thank myself that I will miss the entire season as he'd only last 1 year in NE, at most.

You think he'd last the year?

It's amazing though when you think about it. Someone of those statistics being cut by a team means he must be a whole lot of trouble and really not worth the hassle ...

pauldrulez 06-03-2009 12:58 PM

Although, him and Moss can spread the field and Welker can have 372 catches next year ;)

I hate this more than the Ray Lewis rumours and he was one guy I really didn't want alongside Jerod Mayo.

pauldrulez 06-03-2009 01:00 PM

When Dallas of all teams, cuts someone for being a cancer, then you know something is wrong.

Not to mention his drops...
