I wanted something for Jaz to have a go at.

But since we're not doing anything like that now, can I throw multiple insults Jay Cutler's way? ;)

You should know me by now, I rarely have a go at anyone or thing ... particularly most things NFL to avoid returning to my old 'tool' tag ... ;)

I'd like to officially open The CPFC BBS NFL Thread Hate week.

One day this week, we will have a day to insult a certain player or person named by myself.

Monday: Terrell Owens
Tuesday: Tom Brady
Wednesday: Joey Porter and the Miami Dolphins
Thursday: Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys :hi:
Friday: Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots (the words "field" and "day" come to mind here)
Saturday: The Pittsbugh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles :D and :sob:
Sunday: Roger Goodell. As well as Adam Schefter's face and Mike Mayock copying Mel Kiper's draft analysis.

Hopefully, this can bring some life to the thread and I reckon there are 2 days that may have some incredible bile towards them :D

one out of two ain't bad :p

Hello!

I'm back from Tokyo and ready to talk football. Real football, not pussy English stuff.

First point of the day: Josh McDaniels is a freakin' eejit.

I'd like to counter that with both the new generation of quality QBs in Cutler and Rivers are whiney bitches.

Cutler asked for a trade when JMD was appointed as coach because he didn't get his guy as HC.

JMD then listens to a trade from the Bucs involving Cassel, the guy who he credits with getting him the job. Anything wrong with that?

I reckon Cutler wanted out the whole time, hopefully he goes to Detroit and sucks there.

pauldrulez 16-03-2009 07:19 PM

And I would like to formally welcome Julius Peppers to the New England Patriots.

For the same pick that we got for Cassel.

So Cassel for Peppers. I'll take it.

(Source: NFL NETWORK. Unconfirmed from New England as of yet)

Don't forget cheering Michael Irvin's career ending injury.

Agreed. Way to turn fans in Denver against you before you've even coached your first game.

And I'm a bit fed up of media members pointing out Cutler's 17-20 record as a starter, when those are the same people who have spent the last few years criticising Denver's defence.

pauldrulez 16-03-2009 08:35 PM

The Denver fans are split. Some want the "whiney, crybaby bitch" out.

Others say McDaniels should leave well alone.

The players according to the sources are also split.

JMD has done a good job so far until this moment, complete overhaul of the D and a decent DC in charge.

Strathclyde Eagle 16-03-2009 08:56 PM

He hasn't coached a game yet. Way too early to judge him, let alone say he's done a good job. At the same point I can't say he's done a bad job yet, but I don't think he's making things easy for himself.

pauldrulez 16-03-2009 09:16 PM

True, but the additions of players like Dawkins, Goodman and Davis to their D can only be good.

As well as the threesome of RBs who all add something different to the team.

ardeo 17-03-2009 10:10 AM

Eagles have lost Dawkins :sob:, although giving a 36 year old safety a 5 year contract seems a bit crazy.

So far we seem to be freeing up a lot of cap room with our dealings, letting so good players go and brining in average replacements. Fingers crossed we will come out with a No1 wide receiver and some good drafts this year.

They threw stuff at the poor git! :)

Even their female fans like a ruck, as Ben and I were told when we were in DC. Their female fans started what is now called the Pepperspray Bowl at Fed Ex a few seasons ago.

Hey fella. How was the trip? I've always fancied going to Japan myself ....

Agreed with your first point of the day. He's stirring up trouble that simply wasn't there in the first place.

Classy birds from Philly :p

Kaberle15 17-03-2009 02:21 PM

Trading Cutler would be a major step backwards imo, theres no way they get a replacement that could do what Cutler would do for this team if they kept him.

I know Cutler may have over-reacted, but its poor management for sure. You have to keep the guy happy.

nookiebear 17-03-2009 05:53 PM

Lots of Skins fans on the boards want a Draft Day trade for Cutler...

I want to stick with Campbell meself and think Zorn will as well, but nothing would surprise me when it comes to the chimps running the tea party in DC

West Coast Offense QB and all that
