25 overs and Surrey are 1 run behind Hampshire with 9 wickets remaining. So how do they throw this away, you know they will try to.

Kent are awful this season :(

Yeah, me too.

I struggle to see Overton, Clark, Topley & Atkinson getting many wickets but we'll see....

Wash your mouth out with soap (though you were right about Overton).

Ha! True enough. Loved his 6-fer today. Looked like a good toss to win & they ‘executed their skills well’*

I don't know what's happened with Kent this season. I thought it may not go well but I didn't see it starting this badly. The batting seems to be failing in every match so far.

It’s a really decent batting lineup as well at County Level. Denly can’t buy a run, Crawley isn’t showing his England form and Kuhn has come back in and looked poor.

Apart from when they scored >450 (& 42-1) vs. Northants of course.

Amla gets his ton.

RobertCPFC 30-04-2021 04:00 PM

Much better from Kent so far today.

Glamorgan all out for 197. Five wickets on his 45th Birthday for Darren Stevens.

Mick 30-04-2021 04:41 PM

Pope to 100 as well.

Burns fell 4 short of matching every Hampshire bastman combined, Amla has now doubled that and Pope is well clear of doing it too.

How many sessions needed to bowl Hampshire out again as they surely won't be as bad second time around!

You were saying? Could lose by an innings and Glamorgan only made 197. Pathetic so far this season. Not sure Denly has got double figures. Crawley not doing his England selection chances much good with his start to the season.

Relying on a 45 year old to win us games

The showery weather could be a factor as well.

Smith in ahead of Foakes, looking to get a wriggle on. Perfect platform for Smith, he could wreak havoc here. Suspect Jordan Clark & Overton will both have a swing too, if needed.

Losing consecutive home games to Yorkshire and Lancashire is bad enough but this is verging on the embarassing in Cardiff today.

Stevens wicket has just summed up how abject this Kent batting performance is.

Season over by the end of April

Not verging it's totally embarrassing ! We have had one decent innings out 8 and the other 7 were complete pony. Our team consists of Stevens and Milne with only a tiny bit of help from Cox and Bell Drummond the last game.
Klaasen in a sunday league bowler at best and Cummins looks like a panic signing who is awful, yes we have had a couple of injuries but they were pretty crap before anyway.

Like you say season over before the start of May whilst our captain is handing drinks out in India with no chance of a game. Whilst i understand that even if Billings were to be here it might not have made any difference but who knows ? Tactical changes and the wrong decisions on the win of a toss might have helped, if you ask me a captain should be with you from day one until the end.

Maiden Eagle 30-04-2021 07:22 PM

Makes a change to see the Kent fans moaning.

I though that was only us Surrey followers !:)

Maybe because we see ourselves a bit like Palace the odd cup final every decade and we bottle it we don't really expect any league success we just enjoy following the team,we have some good games and some bad and some inbetween but the start of this season has been disgraceful all round with crap management, on field and off field decisions, terrible bowling, even worse batting and poor recruiting especially our overseas player.

greybot 01-05-2021 12:50 PM

Bit mad that Surrey haven't declared yet.

greybot 01-05-2021 12:51 PM

And just as I type that we declare :clown:
