Interesting one. Rumoured to be one of the bag eggs at the Dolphins. Him and Donald could give a lot of oppos nightmares though if fit and firing!

McVay is certainly assmebling a squad of characters

tsunamiman 27-03-2018 09:48 AM

That defense will either be one of the best ever or completely implode.

Have faith in Wade Phillips though as he'll usually good with 'characters'.

aj4england 27-03-2018 10:38 AM

Talib and Peters as well. Could be one of the best defences in NFL history on paper they say.....Donald will no doubt do his knee ligaments in training camp and it will all go down hill from there

Still undecided if Tyrod Taylor to the browns for a 3rd round 2018 pick is great business by the Browns or just another poor move wasting salary cap. For the Bills, will they trade up to get a QB as they have 12th and 27th R1 picks so one may not drop that far this year.

The Rams are going crazy:

Arsenal fans will be going nuts at the amount of money Kroenke is throwing at the Rams to win an SB.

The new stadium cost is up over $5 Billion now.

So, the Patriots effectively received a cheap year of Brandin Cooks and traded last years 32nd pick for this year’s 24-25th pick going by the old Value Chart.

Not bad. Gives ammunition to move around a bit.

tsunamiman 04-04-2018 02:37 PM

Has Brandin Cooks recovered from that hit yet?

The Cowboys have released Dez Bryant after the receiver's meeting with Jerry Jones, according to a source. A source said Bryant was not offered a pay cut, while another source added that Bryant will not be designated a post-June 1 cut. The Cowboys will save $8 million against the cap this season with the move.

Hardest draft to mock in a long time.

3 predictions:

1. If Rosen falls to 8 or 9 as is currently being predicted, the Patriots trade with San Francisco to take him. If he doesn’t, the Patriots move into the late teens and select Lamar Jackson.

2. The Bills move to 4 with Cleveland when the Giants don’t take a QB or trade out. Won’t ahock me to see Chubb taken here.

3. Too 5: Darnold, Chubb, Allen, Mayfield (trade), Barkley.

What do you think it will take for Bills to get to 4, both first round picks? If so, Cleveland will be stacked with picks in the first two rounds, three first round and three second round. Surely they cannot mess this one up again.

Both first and probably a second.

tsunamiman 23-04-2018 10:35 AM

I can't see the browns trading down from 4. They already have too many picks to keep everyone. I think they'll have the choice of the best non QB as I think the giants will take one (especially if darnold is there).

Denver may trade down with the Bills however. No way Rosen falls that far. Every news item in April is a smokescreen. He'll be gone by pick 5 and as I predicted earlier I think Jackson is gone by pick 7 as at that point the dolphins will be getting nervous and will trade up.

The Browns could **** anything up. They are the football equivalent of Mr Bean.

Haha that is true. Being a Bengals fan I hope they do find a way, starting with taking Josh Allen number 1 overall.

We are rumoured to be looking at Kolton Miller with the first round pick and from the sounds of it this could be another first round offensive tackle disaster, after Ogbuehi a few years ago.

More of a Gary Strang, if you ask me.

I'm going to set my alarm for 6am tomorrow and get through the first few hours before heading for work.

Most intriguing draft since I started following it.

Can't see the Brown's going anywhere but Darnold and all the signs seem to be the Giants sticking will Eli...so they go Barkley surely?

Then it gets interesting; Allen, Mayfield or Rosen? Jets need to get this right! This is such a fascinating pick for so many reason. Imagine the story lines to come in NY for the years to come if the Giants pass on a QB that goes on to have a stellar career for the Jets? Or he could be a bust and everyone in that front office gets fired.

davematt 26-04-2018 03:01 PM

Mayfield to Browns at #1 is getting ALOT of talk at the moment.
