Cowgirls never existed, they weren't a team (oh how sweet that would be) who would you pick?
|
But they are so get over it :moo:
I think we have touched on this before. And I could never pin point how exactly I chose the Cowboys. It was something in the first programme on C4 when it started over here both me and my old man picked a team each and stuck with it from there ... If I was new to NFL I don't know if I would chose the Cowboys or not ... but for arguments sake, if there did not exist I'd have probably chosen the 49ers like mt old man did. Purely for the entertainment value they had at the time with QB Montana and WR Rice ... I may have gone for the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks or the San Diego Chargers as I have always had a soft spot for each of them ... |

Thing is, I have no connection with the US at all. The closest is I have distant relatives in Canada. I was closer to an Uncle of mine who lived in Montreal and then Toronto, he's the one that brought me a Habs shirt home one Christmas and I then went on to wear it all the time ...

Really is a difficult question, as my random supporting of the Eagles has in turn led to my greater love of the NFL. Much like football, I support Palace and then the game (kind of).
Probably Seattle due to the arbitary reasons that they are now my second team (Dad has a friend who lives nearby, he's been there a couple of times (like Philly), and Frasier is set there). Was just looking at the schedules and Texans then Titans have the hardest and Cardinals the easiest, Eagles actually have the easiest in the NFC East and NFC West has the easiest schedules overall. |
Patriots didn't exist, then it would likely have been the Eagles because of the nickname.
Other than that, it would likely have been the team with the funniest mascot. |
Unlike football where I am a Palace fan but despise what the game has become, I could easily watch NFL and College football without an allegiance. This is what I do with college anyway really, except my wife went to Texas.
|
Completely agree with you there, mate.
I don't sit watching Man U-Bolton or Blackburn-Wigan. But, I can happily sit watching Seattle-Buffalo for 3 hours. |
Apparently the Dez Bryant interview is available online somewhere, anyone know where?

Although i'll be watching Seahawks this season when they don't clash with the Eagles (will have to make sure I pick up some players in my fantasy team though![No idea who though in a 10 team league]) |

You want to know what a rookie receives on the first day the walk into a team?
Courtesy of @realpatriots, This is what the meeting room for Rookie MiniCamp at Gillette looks like: http://cdn.cloudfiles.mosso.com/c54102/x2_13528eb Try learning all that in one go :D |
Oh, too make it clear, that is the offensive rookies playbook.
Just for this minicamp, it's the basic offensive plays so that those that are cut don't have too much info of the system. |
Shit a brick! Knocks the spots off trying to remember your spellings at primary school! Nice one Paul.

:D
What a waste of paper. ;) |
