As a husband of a diabetic I don't find that even slightly funny. Sorry to sound boring but they need that meter several times a day to make sure they're ok. My wife's chemist made a colossal mistake to do with my her blood sugar meter about a week and a half ago and I'm telling you that really wasn't a laughing matter. When you ask a diabetic, "What are your sugars?" you want a better answer than, "I don't know."

Incidentally I'd class Manning's comment about "insulin shots" as being ignorant and worse in terms of seriousness and stupidity than McNabb's comments regarding overtime rules in the event of a tie. Go and do a day's work for a diabetes charity rather than selling out to attend some kid's Bar Mitzvah, or at least put on a Parka before doing aeroplane impressions at the line of scrimmage.

(And... exhale!)

Entirely agree with you. Both my father and my father in law are diabetics, one worse than the other admittadely. A clear case of not engaging brain before opening mouth .... which a lot of players suffer from sadly ...

Didn't Boldin say he'd never re-sign with the Cardinals? That'll be something to watch this offseason, although I'm not sure what his contract status is or whether or not the Cardinals will franchise him.

Interesting stuff from Mike Lombardi this week on the BS Report. He thinks that 2010 being played without a salary cap suits the owners, not the players. Apparently along with there being no cap there is no salary floor, and so it is an opportunity for teams which are struggling financially to balance the books.

These last questions are a bit hard to predict before free agency and the draft, but I believe if the Vikings can sort out their QB position they have a team that could go all the way, thats a big if though

Why does everyone expect the Vikings to do well next year? If they've still got Childress and Jackson/Frerotte the best they're doing is to win the NFC North again and bomb out in the first round.

Adrian Peterson, their o-line and defence deserve better.

Not that I'm sure which of the available top line coaches they would be best off going for, so I'll open that question to the floor.

I dont want to mention it again, but I see Cassel at the Vikings and for that reason I think they will do well.

But this wasn't intended to cause arguments ;)

I think anyone better than Tarvaris/Frerotte would get them to the Superbowl with the rest of that team.

But, if they could get one more quality Receiver as well, they would be certainties for their division and possibly the Championship.

In my opinion of course.

Cassel is not the answer in Minnesota.

That's not to say they won't trade for him, but if they do, they can enjoy going 5-11.

Matt Stovers winning kick versus Titans in the play offs, thought they were amazing to win that game, great courage and determination all game.

Close second being the fake punt and two late long touchdowns versus the Cowboys in week 16.

The best play of the season?

Haven't got a clue what game, but it was a pick that Troy Polimero (Sp?) made against someone early on, top catch and despite him being a Steeler is one of my favourite players.

Decline of the Patriots was good for the league.

Watched an interview with DeMarcus Ware on Total Access last night in Hawaii. Great interview and one thing stands out a mile for me. Why was he not considered a decent shout for MVP of the season? I know there have been some great performances this season, admitadley. But it seems that 20+ sacks in a season has only been done 6 times so quite a feat.

Worrying to think he has only one year of his contract left so free agency could be around the corner for him if Jerry Jones doesn't get his finger out. Am I right?

He's a legend for me and I need to obtain a shirt sooner rather than later as I'm getting rather embarrased to wear my Romo one .. ;)
