My God.

The guy is an absolute freak.

Larry Fitzgerald jr. Take a bow son.

Listening to some of the play calls the QB has to repeat during the pro bowl game makes you wonder how they remember everything!!!

I would watch it anyway, but I want to see The Incredible Welk and the Ghost playing. Love them both. Legends ;)

Manning Bros and the Arizona Trio should be good as well.

It's akin to a pre-season football friendly being played in Spain in 100 degree weather in July.

LF is da man. No other option. The man is ******* amazing.

It was actually funnier listening to the QBs having to repeat the call and basically saying "you run down there, you cross, you go deep" :D

pauldrulez 09-02-2009 09:58 AM

If I was calling one of them plays, I'd end up having half of the receivers crossing into each other ;)

ardeo 09-02-2009 10:18 AM

Philadelphia isn't too bad (well half of it is ok apparently).

NFC won - woohoo - 2 in a row.

Desean Jackson will be even better next season and McNabb's go to guy, along with the emergence of Celek, so Eagles may not spend a lot of money on a new WR, especially as a fair few other people are out of contract that would be good to keep.

I dreamt last night that we had traded McNabb, can't really remember who though, Delhomme maybe :(

Benzhiyi 09-02-2009 12:10 PM

Paul, if Adam Shefter is correct and the Pats don't trade Cassel for a first rounder in time for the draft, how would you like your self-imposed lifetime ban from this thread to work?

Do you have the willpower to refrain from posting or would you like me to lend a helping hand by removing anything you post 'accidentally'?

pauldrulez 09-02-2009 12:15 PM

Do whatever you want.

From what I hear, the Chiefs 2nd and Gonzalez may be on their way along with a conditional pick.

But if I'm gone, i'll just re-register as someone else ;)

Pats QB Matt Cassel already has had the franchise tag placed on him for 2009, but Yahoo Sports reports that the QB wants to be traded sooner rather than later. Here is the report:

New England is doing everything it can to make people believe that it’s going to keep Matt Cassel after declaring him a franchise player this week. However, the folks in Cassel’s camp are hopeful to get him traded before the draft so that he can get a long-term contract rather than simply play on a one-year deal for $14.5 million. Expect Patriots coach Bill Belichick to drive a hard bargain, but he easily should have at least a couple of suitors with Chicago, Minnesota, Detroit, Tampa Bay, San Francisco and Kansas City all having unsettled quarterback situations.
From Yahoo!

I think in Houch's case it is a matter of the situation in Cincinnati being that bad. If you were a good player who kept his head down and got on with your job would you want to stay there?

Gonzales was excellent last night.

So I understand next year the Pro Bowl is going to be the week before the Super Bowl in the same stadium as the Super Bowl.

Seems odd, as then players from the Super Bowl will not be playing... aren't they the players the people want to see?

Clutching at straws I'm thinking.

Benzhiyi 10-02-2009 09:23 AM

Especially for Nookie, I've changed my NFC prediction for next year to the Skins.

That should guarantee another mediocre season at Fedex. :)

Strathclyde Eagle 10-02-2009 09:47 AM

That's just evil, Ben. :D

Benzhiyi 10-02-2009 10:00 AM

Amazing:

"Larry Fitzgerald, MVP of Sunday's Pro Bowl, has been playing with a broken left thumb and torn cartilage in his left hand between his middle and ring fingers."

pauldrulez 10-02-2009 10:59 AM

Thats ridiculous.

I know this will sound stupid 2 weeks on, but if Warner had been given one more chance.

If Holmes had been given the 15 yard penalty on kickoff for using the ball as a prop during celebration.

The Cards could have been SB winnners.

With Larry, who knows?

saxoneagle 10-02-2009 11:06 AM

If, if, if. Let it go.
