Manti Te'o.

Read it, every last word.

Would you want him on your team in April?

The Raiders most certainly would

He's got the perfect offense for it though, he also has the excuse of not having his QB in place until he drafts one.

They better get to work on their cardio.

Ayenbadejo or whatever the **** his name is from the Ravens will be crying at the thought of another team running a quicksnap offense, since it's cheating and all...

This is the best bit, in the comments section:
Wow. All of these Catholics are crazy upset about Lennay not being real. You can only imagine the kind of shitstorm it's going to be when they finally find out about Jesus.

I read about this this morning, if it's true and he didn't know anything about it being a hoax then I don't see why it should effect his chances of being drafted by anyone in the NFL.

Yeah, doesn't look like the public cares too much for the Falcons.

Those graphs don't say too much to me... I'd imagine the Niners due to being around a lot longer and a much more widespread appeal would always have the edge in any sort of vote.

It's a bit like asking who you'd rather win out of say Liverpool or Chelsea... Ones had decades of success and history, the others are relative newcomers and don't have that national appeal.

No, that is just what Super Bowl you want to see. I imagine if you threw every team into that question, the Steelers, Packers, Patriots and Cowboys would probably come out on top.

I was referring to the vote... Clearly because they have greater national appeal / historical appeal people would rather see a Superbowl featuring the Niners than they would the Falcons.

In some way yes, but the Niners went through a simply woeful spell and its taken an incredible overhaul throughout the entire organisation to get them back to where they are getting to now.

I can't wait for Sunday; I finally sat down and watched the entire game from Saturday night. If Kaepernick is allowed to get out the pocket and get those legs going, Atlanta will struggle to contain him.

The Offensive Line that CK has protecting him is outstanding. If they do their jobs, 49ers win this one.

I wonder if the Patriots have devised a game plan for Bernard Pollard yet.

Nonsense. I'd love to see the Falcons get humped in a Superbowl.

Hoping that the Pats just run no huddle the entire game against the ageing Broncos. Get Vereen on a LB as they'll be planning on covering Welker and Hernandez.

None of that bullshit that Manning done, it didn't tire them out by standing there and doing duck shapes and shuffle dances at the line of scrimmage.

Running plays every 15 seconds... No chance of them keeping it up for 4 quarters.

AddiscombeEagle 19-01-2013 09:39 AM

It's not really an aging D though, only Reed and Lewis. I think you are right about our D tiring though but I think that is more to do with the injuries that Suggs, Lewis etc have overcome. Suggs is half thr player this year.

Flacco will decide whether this game is tight or not and if he can keep Brady and co on the sides for long periods then it will not be an issue.

pauldrulez 19-01-2013 09:45 AM

Comes down to Torrey Smith.

Totally different Pats Defense from week 3 and especially last January...

Jan 12: CB: McCourty, Arrington, Edelman!, Moore. S: Ihedigbo, Chung.
Sep 12: CB: McCourty, Arrington, Moore. S: Chung, Gregory, Wilson.
Jan 13: CB: Talib, Dennard, Arrington. S: McCourty, Gregory, Wilson.

The best part of it is that the passer rating of throwing at McCourty is 10.0 now he's a Safety, it's not as easy to throw deep anymore on the Pats.
