Looking forward to next season as a Niner.

Rookies got good game time & produced at WR, TE, CB, S & DL.

Goodwin would have been only the 3rd WR since TO to break 1k yards if he hadn’t been fouled in the first half.

Tie Jimmy G to a long term & we become an attractive destination for FAs with over $100m in cap space.

Bring it on.

4th and 12 (think it was 12) for the Bengals, ravens have to stop them to get into the playoffs but give up the TD instead...... that was a crazy ending

The #Falcons have enjoyed six 10-win seasons since drafting Matt Ryan in 2008. They had four -- yes four -- in previous 4-plus decades. Incredible job by Thomas Dimitroff and most recently, by Dan Quinn.

Greg Olsen was so bad yesterday, I was surprised Cam kept going to him.
The more catches he missed or dropped the more speculators Cam sent in his direction.
It actually looked like Newton was trying to end his career.
Throw in Cam's 9/26 (or whatever it finished at) and confidence looks pretty low in Carolina.
I can see the Saints tearing them apart. This is the first season I can remember New Orleans having a rushing game
and, in a season this wide open, can see them going all the way.

My big aim of 2018 is to go to either the Green Bay or Minnesota road game to watch the 49ers during next season.

A lot will depend on when they fall.

The lure of Lambeau Field is very tempting but if its in December, not sure I would want to risk watching a game in sub zero temps! At least in Minnesota your in a dome! Plus, that new stadium in Minnesota is

Gruden back to The Raiders?

Tim 03-01-2018 07:39 AM

Sean Mcvay for coach of the year. From worst to first!

So what are your picks for Wildcard weekend?

I'm going for:

Titans vs Chiefs - Chiefs win
Falcons vs Rams - Atlanta win
Buffalo vs Jags - Jags win
Panthers vs Saints - Saints win

Vince Hilaire's Afro 03-01-2018 12:45 PM

Saints have beaten Panthers twice this season. Three in a row? Nah.

Read about that. Sorry state of affairs.

Interested to get peoples thoughts for the season.

Patriots obviously are the favourites but I'm not sure they are as strong as last year.

A lot is expected of Atlanta but I can really see Carolina returning to form in what is the toughest division. Can see Atlanta and Carolina both getting 10 wins with the Bucs and saints around 8/9.

Have to fancy the Seahawks this year. One of the best defences with tons of pro bowlers. Don't face many of the big gun quarter backs (Brady, Ryan, Bi Ben) with RW3 also looking fitter than ever.

My predictor has it as the following:

WC -
Bengals vs Raiders
Dolphins vs Titans
Cowboys vs Falcons
Panthers vs Giants

Tians vs Patrioits
Bengals vs Steelers
Cowboys vs Packers
Carolina vs Seahawks

Patriots vs Steelers
Packers vs Seahawks

Patriots vs Seahawks final

What do i know! Only Carolina and Titans as Wildcard picks and only got Patriots and Steelers and league leaders.

Predictions for the Season

- Dak Prescott will struggle. No Zeke for 6 games, OL leaving and they'll allow him to do more than he should be allowed to do because of the hype.

- Christian McAffrey will be distinctly average. Reminds me too much of Darren Sproles/Danny Woodhead. Need to actually see him break a tackle to get excited. Had a good OL at Stanford and will get found out.

- Marcus Mariota will win MVP

- Derrius Guice will win the heismann

- Derrick Barnett will win D Rookie

- Kareem Hunt will win O Rookie

WC -
Bengals vs Texans
Raiders vs Steelers
Eagles vs Giants
Packers vs Falcons

Patriots vs Texans
Titans vs Raiders
Seahawks vs Packers
Buccs vs Eagles

Patriots vs Raiders
Packers vs Buccs

Patriots vs Buccs Superbowl

Got the first two predictions. Stupid Hard Knocks.

Interesting article on the Pats and their future.
http://www.espn.co.uk/nfl/story/_/pa...power-struggle

Some key points re Jimmy G trade;

Kraft did force the trade
He shares the same agent as Brady.
He rejected several 4 year offers around the $17/18m mark
Belichick met Shanahan post the SB
The Shanahan relationship goes back to Mike

Beckenham Boy 05-01-2018 05:58 PM

I'm going for
Titans v CHIEFS
Bills v JAGUARS
Falcons v RAMS
PANTHERS v Saints

Chiefs v PATRIOTS
Jaguars v STEELERS
RAMS v Eagles
Panthers v VIKINGS

Controversial but
STEELERS v Patriots
RAMS v Vikings

STEELERS v Rams

Anything can happen. panthers had Trai Turner, Kurt Coleman and Jonathan Stewart missing for Falcons game. If they can get some or all of them back, they will give Saints a game. Panthers have beaten sides just as good as the Saints this year.

They are noisy bastards in their rat infested stadium though, I admit

Sorry to be a pedant, but would it not be Eagles v Panthers in the divisional?

Like to see the Bills do well because I'm a big fan of Sean McDermott, but I don think they're quite there yet. He's brought them pretty far in a short space of time though
