Pats - Redskins would be a great game next year.

Only due to the schedules I think they're not due to play each other again in the regular season until 2011.

Yes I think you're right as that name rings a bell. As I said, he made a few appearances for Romo last season ... ex Tampa then?

To enhance my own eductaion here, I've been looking at the Superbowl winners from when my interest started for as far back as I can remember and to keep up to speed who has won it since I lost interest ...

Some would say there's some justice there maybe ...

13th anniversary of his previous acquittal, ironic.

pauldrulez 05-10-2008 12:28 AM

A weird coincidence. Funny though :D

For the UK fans:

Sun 5 Oct Seattle @ NY Giants 6.00pm
Sun 5 Oct Washington @ Philadelphia 6.00pm i
Sun 5 Oct Buffalo @ Arizona 9.00pm
Sun 5 Oct Tampa Bay @ Denver 9.00pm i
Sun 5 Oct Pittsburgh @ Jacksonville 1.30am (Mon)
Mon 6 Oct Minnesota @ New Orleans 1.30am (Tue)

And there is always that other website for other games that you may wish to view (Dolphins, Patriots etc)

Now just a quick thought, but the Vikings went 1-3 last year and ended up 8-8, does anyone think they will do better with Frerotte?

And if the Vikings had Kurt Warner or someone like David Garrard as their QB, how much better would they be.

(Man, i'm regretting putting the Vikes at 13-3 at the beginning of the season). Although my surprise pick for NFC Champions, the Washington Fredskins arent doing too badly. If Campbell can keep up the way he has played in the last couple of games then they will be in there with the Cowboys, Giants and whoever gets out of the two tight divisions.

Something good has came out of Anquan Boldins injury. (Actually ignore that its just a way of bigging myself up not an insult to Anquan)

I have Larry Fitzgerald in my Fantasy team :)

Something good in the NFL is the way that when a player goes down badly injured, all the players take a knee in a show of respect and I think I heard its a prayer being made for his health but dont take me word-for-word on that.

Yay! Just got my tickets to the 49ers v Eagles next weekend in San Fran!!!

Cant wait!!!!

It has cheered me up after the disappointment of having to turn down front row tickets to the UCLA game this evening. Gutted.

saxoneagle 05-10-2008 02:42 AM

Have you been to Candlestink Park before?

I don't think the NFL would do it though - 90,000 people go to Skins home games

Just seen that on the NFL Gameday. Quite sickening. I read that he is out for ten days though after having an op to correct a broken bone in his face. The player that did the jit has been fined.

saxoneagle 05-10-2008 04:06 PM

I hate Sunday mornings. That looooong wait for 2pm when the matches start!!!

pauldrulez 05-10-2008 06:17 PM

Jaz, the player is also suspended for 1 game as well I believe.

There are a few things that may have to be downloaded, but the website will help you on your way.

COME ON THE PATRIOTS. :lux:

Yikes, the Texans look GOOD. On both sides of the ball. Holy cow.

I honestly think this Colts team will not make the play-offs.

Get the felling the Colts are on their downward turn as a franchise right now.

saxoneagle 05-10-2008 08:25 PM

Zero catches for Santana Moss in the first half v Philly.

I'm sure Paul will disagree but the Pats are, too. I think we could be seeing some years of NFC dominance coming up.

Why does Detroit have a football team? Can we have some EPL-like relegation for them?
