Freeman as a first round pick? Oher at 28?

And a TE at 11, no matter how good he is, that doesn't sound too plausible, but stranger things have happened I guess

No chance Parcells and co take a wide receiver with our first pick. Just not his style.

Also, Peppers is too undersized to play DE in our system. He'd be SLB or WLB.

Redskins more likely to go Offensive Line I think with their first pick

I'm shocked... For Kipers, that's a terrible prediction!

A lot of them I didn't agree with...

That draft looks awful to me!

Orakpo is a beast though. Don't be disappointed if you get him.

LOL at Stafford and Sanchez in the top three. I think they'll both be busts (feel free to put that in sigs if you like).

saxoneagle 23-01-2009 03:30 PM

Sanchez will be lucky to be a first rounder, IMO.

elliott 23-01-2009 04:36 PM

Stafford will be a bust. I don't rate him.

If Oher is still there at 25 (which he won't be) he's Miami's left guard or right tackle for the next five years.

And I think Jim Schwartz begs his GM not to take a QB at number one overall. They have far bigger problems and can go after Bradford or McCoy (both better than this year's top QBs) in 2010 if Stanton doesn't take his chance.

Andre Smith is the pick. Would anyone honestly argue that the Phins made a mistake picking Jake #1 last year?

Nope. He's replaceable anyway. Makes too many errors against the pass.

Yeremiah Bell, however, we need to wrap up soon.

Wouldn't be surprised if Eagles went for OL, not sure why we need another running back. Buckhalter is good enough cover for Westbrook. Need an OL that can help develop the run game.

Yep, you should've taken Gholston... :p

saxoneagle 23-01-2009 05:43 PM

That draft has 4 LBs going in the first round. I reckon there will be 4 in the top 20 and 5 in the first round total, FWIW :)

pauldrulez 23-01-2009 11:04 PM

Herms gone.

Unsurprising really, Pioli wants his own staff in.

If Oher is there at 23, we'll take him and stick him opposite Light.

Kaczur sucks.

Enjoy Hawaii, Jake. Well deserved. :p

I think Mike Lombardi said he played about thirteen snaps this year or something ridiculous like that. Given the way that Favre imploded down the stretch and that little amount of production from a first round pick and it makes you wonder how Mangini carried the can for what went on with the Jets.

Edenbridge Eagle In Exile 24-01-2009 10:44 AM

The Eagles are the only team with two picks in the first round!!!! :lux:

Although Andy Read will probably trade these again  :(
