broncos wanted to use one of their coaches at qb but nfl said no. would have been amusing to watch.

Bills back to winning ways!

I noticed that Jake Fromm is a QB for the Bills having been picked in the draft this year. If you've seen the series QB1, the first series I think, then you can see him play for his high school final year before college.

I did read that a couple of their players had played QB at school before converting to their current position, but whether that school was High School or college, I'm not sure. In truth, unless your game revolves around 20 yard passes, I'm guessing you just hand the ball to a running back and hope for the best. |

Believe theres a few 49ers fans in here? Would be keen to get your thoughts of possible season endings for you?
Its not an easy schedule with Bills, Washington, Cowboys, Cardinals, Seahawks but not impossible. Looking at playoff picture, I think that the 49ers are underrated and bookies wise, overpriced. Yes they are missing stars, probably more blue chippers than any other team but if Tevin Coleman can return alongside Mostert (who is top class and underrated) and get through to week 15-16 with a possibility of Jimmy G, Kittle, Ayuik, Deebo and Mostert on the pitch at the same time, this team I think has a serious chance. Flip back just 2 weeks, only Ayuik featured vs the Saints (7 for 75 and 1 TD, so proves can do it against some of the better teams) and limited them pretty well apart from some rare special teams errors Sherman just returned and still have Kinlaw who will improve, plus Ward, Greenlaw and Warner.... Sneaky under the radar particularly with in my mind, the best coach in the league. He will put Kingsbury and Mike McCarthy to shame in the coming weeks. |

Looks like it’s between the Cards, 9ers, Bears and my Vikings for that final wildcard spot.
I’d say the Bears have the easiest schedule, but are probably the weakest team. Really hard to predict, obviously lots will depend on when the Cards play the 9ers, and the Vikings play the Bears. Though the NFC West is clearly the strongest division in football, they’ve definitely had the distinct benefit of playing against the NFC Least, who this season may be the worst division in NFL history. |

I guess my angle was: 1. Some blue chippers returning and how many other teams would still be in the hunt without key players (see Cowboys) 2. The fact that Covid plays a part also means you could realistically be facing a very weakened team in some upcoming or future matches (flip side is, Santa Clara is worst hit so maybe the 49ers will be affected the most) - but games like Saints vs Broncos and last nights may not be to uncommon going forward now a precendant has been set, which perhaps could give some unusual optimism to not rule anything out 3. As a cardinals fan, I dont really rate us that much as a team. Murray is great yes, but the shoulder injury is worrying, the running game has stalled recently and the defence is overall void of any play makers. 4. As for the NFC west, its strong in comparison to other leagues but the Rams are very capable of laying eggs with Goff and also are one of the few teams, same for Seahawks to not have a key player have injury (Donald, Goff himself in theory, Kupp, Wilson, Lockett, Metcalf). Banking on injuries is never a failsafe plan of course I would not be surprised to see 49ers finish above the Cardinals, which should give them a shot at the playoffs |

What on earth is going on with the Browns!

Don’t think anyone expected them to run away with it like this though! |
Meanwhile, it’d be nice if the Vikings could manage a lead against the bloody Jags!

There is a zero percent chance that NY Jets players are tanking but if you are a Jets' CB, why the hell would you bite on a stop and go with seconds left in the game and no Raiders TOs.
