What a lovely sight to see that absolute knob TO throwing a hissy fit. No doubt it was because he didn't get the ball.

He'll blow his trumpet when they're winning, but the minute the Cowboys lose, he throws a fit and blames the rest of the team.

Cock.

pauldrulez 08-12-2008 01:43 AM

He is without a doubt the biggest tosser on their team.

And that is a hard one to judge with Pacman there.

He is what I thought Moss would be like when it all goes wrong but he has been a different person on and off the field (press conferences etc) since he was made captain.

That Steelers defense may well be awesome, but they couldn't kill off the Welker.

Big Monday night local game here between the Panthers and the Buccanneers. Panthers got a bit of a pumping earlier in their season at their place, but I fancy some revenge tonight. Winner will be top of the division outright.

I'm still not sure Delhomme has the firepower but he's got the Panthers to the Superbowl before. We've got a pretty good all round team here but no real big names so they seem to be sneaking along under the radar. Some good consistent performers over some years like Steve Smith and Muhsin Mohammed, Deangelo Williams and rookies like Jonathan Stewart.

I guess people might start taking notice if the Panthers win this one.

It's all about next season for the Skins :(

Another limp performance on Offense. The Skins' D is awesome, but it counts for nothing if your Offense can't stay on the field.

There's no shame in losing to the Giants, Cowboys, Steelers and Ravens but the difference in class is clear and it shows how far the Skins have got to go to get to the play-offs next season

Portis is ••••ed, Betts not fit and Randle El and Moss can't do it on their own.

And Zorn needs to get more creative with his playbook.

Penalties and turnovers killed the Skins AGAIN last night as well.

The O-line is all over the place, poor old Jason Campbell is getting clobbered so much

Despite the doom and gloom I think the Skins will be OK next season. The passing game will improve as Kelly, Davis and Thomas get more involved, and if Zorn has any sense he'll spend all the draft and free-agency sorting out the offensive line

Things I did enjoy this weekend was watching Matt Ryan and Brees put on a QB masterclass,

Romo the Homo making a pig's ear of it

Skins fans making a lot of noise in Baltimore

Another win for Miami - could the Pats miss out? Please, please, make it so

Benzhiyi 08-12-2008 11:04 AM

You know what?

The Miami Dolphins are a good football team.

I was talking to elliot on Facebook (dont let me talking to him harm his rep ;)), and I reckon that if the Pats go 3-0 there's a 80% chance of playoffs, if we go 2-1 there's a 25% chance and anything else there is no chance at all.

We cant afford to lose, especially to the Bills with our awful Conference record. We should beat the Raiders, but who knows.

So it comes down to the Cardinals travelling along with the Patriots over to Foxboro from the West.

We need snow, heavy snow to stop them passing the ball. And with the luck we have had recently, if Bill wants snow, he will get snow, rain, wind whatever he wants.

What an interesting season this has been.

There are a lot of us taking notice of both of them teams.

I think that Carolina are the better offense, but I think the Bucs are the better defense. I'm not sure if they can run the ball on the Bucs like they done to other teams, but Delhomme and Smith's connections last week were decent as well so there is a big aerial threat.

Can Dunn and Garcia drag a good offensive performance out of the Bucs again?

pauldrulez 08-12-2008 11:43 AM

AFC Playoffs:
Titans*, Colts, Texans
Steelers/Ravens
Broncos/Chargers
Jets/Patriots/Dolphins, Bills

Teams after a comma are going for a Wildcard still. After a slash they are going for Division win.

So 11 out of 16 have some sort of chance of playoffs, possibly going down to 8 next week.

Its also 11 in the NFC with Eagles, Redskins and Cowboys, All 4 NFC South teams, the Vikings, Bears and the already qualified teams, The New York Football Giants and the Arizona Cardinals.

Next weeks games with Playoff importance:

Saints @ Bears
Bucs @ Falcons
49ers @ Dolphins
Bills @ Jets
Chargers @ Chiefs
Redskins @ Bungals
Titans @ Texans
Lions @ Colts
Vikings @ Cardinals
Steelers @ Ravens
Broncos @ Panthers
Patriots @ Raiders
Giants @ Cowboys
Browns @ Eagles

Those in bold have two playoff teams in it

Seahawks put in a good performance against the Pats. Best game they have played for many weeks.

elliott 08-12-2008 12:13 PM

Paul, I take it you were glad to see your mate Joey getting 2 more sacks.

Does he lead the league again now or did other people match him?

pauldrulez 08-12-2008 12:19 PM

They were unlucky that Seneca used those two timeouts when the Pats were about to bring the first blitz of the safety and corners and then again when with 5 on the play clock we put 9 up on the line.

Ultimately that cost you allowing us to kneel out 1:55 of the clock. And again it was a blitz that forced the fumble with Merriweather stripping the ball from Wallace.

They showed promise for next year though.

He leads by half a sack with 16.5 to DeMarcus Ware with 16.0 with Defensive Player of the year James Harrison in 3rd with 15.0

jazman 08-12-2008 01:22 PM

How the hell did we lose that game to the Steelers last night? I'm seriously pissed about it now. Having played well for a majority of the game and keeping the best defence in the league on the back foot, we blow it.

On the bright side, Choice was awesome at RB. His first start against the best D in the league could have been intimidating. Our D stood up the the plate big time, shame the offence couldn't back them up. So many injuries again though, it's unreal.

I get your comments above about TO. But he's one of those players don't you think that if he plays for your team you love him, if not you just cannot stand him. I do agree to a certain extent about his hissy fit, we should have gone to him a little more, especially the 2nd time to Whitten sealed our fate.

I did mention my worries yesterday, but they didn't really materialise. Just gutted we lost a game that we looked like we had won. We still have that chance of making the post season ....

jazman 08-12-2008 01:24 PM

And I'll tell you something, watch out for those Fins next season .... I liek what they are doing right now :p

No. If TO played for the Pats, I'd stop watching until he left. A totally abhorrent excuse for a human being.

[Paul-ism] What until Brady comes back and we get all our other 30 injured players back that I never moan about but mention 5 times a week and more when we lose and then we'll go 16-0 and put 50 points on everyone and BB will be loved by all once again... [/Paul-ism]

;)

I've obviously missed out on the issues surrounding him then .. ;)

But the Cowboys are not just one man. I was sure we were going to win gooing into the 4th quarter with the D playing so well.

I had to look twice at who posted that ;) :o

The thing that impressed me was that 4 out of 5 O Linemen are back ups, and to replace pro bowl calibre players such as Walter Jones and Matt Hasselbeck is tough.
