I originally said 100 yards running due to the weather so close on both sides but that reception and the YAC he got was a great play.

Does anyone know how fast he ran the 40 at the combine?

I know Chris Johnson was the fastest and he actually doesn't look that quick when they showed it on SKY (Thanksgiving IIRC may have been before) and the commentators were saying, when he is clear, he's gone

I didn't think Choice made 100 yards rushing. Combined pass and rush exceeded 100 yards though if my memeory serves me right.

Yep, I think it was 88 on the ground and 70ish through the air.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees received 951,246 votes to lead all NFL All-Stars in fan balloting for the 2009 NFL Pro Bowl presented by State Farm, NFL.com announced Thursday. Fan voting ended on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

The AFC and NFC All-Star squads are based on the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group’s vote counts one-third toward determining the 43-man rosters that represent the two conferences in the Pro Bowl. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes on Dec. 11-12.

New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre (880,833 votes) ranks second overall, while New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning (821,852 votes), Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis (767,817 votes) and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner (673,710 votes) round out the top five on NFL.com.

The teams will be announced at 4 p.m. ET, Tuesday, Dec. 16 on a special NFL Total Access 2009 NFL Pro Bowl Selection Show on NFL Network. The 2009 NFL Pro Bowl presented by State Farm will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday, Feb. 8 and televised by NBC.

The NFL is the only sports league that combines voting by fans, coaches and players to determine its all-star teams. It was the first professional sports league to offer online all-star voting in 1995.
3 of my players are in the Top 5 that I voted for. Brees, Portis and Warner. None of my AFC'ers.

I had Cutler, Rivers(for last few weeks), Schaub and Cassel on rotation.

I had Brees, Warner and Romo in the NFC.

I like Mattyice as much as the next guy, but 6 weeks is taking the pee, especially if there is a chance of the playoffs going into the last game.

Edited: Those in bold are either shown too much or not shown enough.

NOT ENOUGH SINGLETARY :grrr:

Amen to Singletary. He will take us to the promised land (I so dearly hope).

pauldrulez 11-12-2008 09:46 PM

I would love it if he did.

Nice to see a coach like that

jazman 11-12-2008 09:53 PM

Damn owners. He's criticised Barber's strength now. Not the best timing in my view ....

pauldrulez 11-12-2008 09:58 PM

Jaz, when I read that story, I think it said one player took offense to it. Can you find who it was, or do you know who it was?

jazman 11-12-2008 10:01 PM

No I don't know who it was or is and I have no connections unfortunately. But I'm willing to bet it's either of the sensative souls that are Romo or TO ...

pauldrulez 11-12-2008 10:07 PM

Lol, I cant remember who it was.

I dont think it was Romo, it may have been TO, but it might have been a WR who came from Detroit. Or the LB next to Ware

saxoneagle 11-12-2008 10:13 PM

Holy cow - I was just looking at some stats on this thread and on around page 138 we were talking about the Superbowl. Now we're on page 446*

Craziness!

*Assuming you all have 20 posts per page view like me ;)

pauldrulez 11-12-2008 10:19 PM

I have 70 per page lol

We are on 128 on mine and were talking at it around 41 lol

The proxy server at my work couldn't handle that. It struggles with 25 a page.

pauldrulez 11-12-2008 11:08 PM

Lol, at college it struggles to finish loading after about 30, but I leave it to load in the background ;)

Strathclyde Eagle 11-12-2008 11:24 PM

I'd go and leave it, but IE6 has a nasty habit of popping up with a webpage when you're away from your desk.

This usually coincides with someone calling someone else a tool on this thread. :D

pauldrulez 11-12-2008 11:41 PM

So it pops up every time there is a new post?

;)

Strathclyde Eagle 12-12-2008 12:38 AM

Indeed. :D

No, what normally happens is I click on a link, the page (in any site) takes ages to load. I get called to look at something so I minimise the window, only to return to the desk and see something like this taking up 80% of my monitor's real estate.

saxoneagle 12-12-2008 01:19 AM

What Paul means is that he is a tool and posts poo poo all day!

pauldrulez 12-12-2008 01:27 AM

Now Strathers, when you leave the screen, dont minimise it. Resize the window and put it down in the corner and you can drag it up again after :)
