Looked on Kitbag for a Ravens Jersey! They don't have any in stock. They used to have a Ray Lewis purple jersey!

Too bad Romo choked when he could'nt handle the pressure and the cold weather last week.

Today's game, last week, San Diego. I give it to you that you had injuries at the beginning of the season (I honestly didn't know,) but I saw teams like the Browns holding you close and the first Raven's game which has made me think you aren't impressive.

In my opinion you could easily be a 7-7 team.

You are right Romo lost the plot a bit. Still he is a kid. Had the conditions not been like that and if we even had the luck of kicking in the better direction in the fourth I think you would have been found out.

Like I expect you to be in the play offs.

If someone (Rob?) could try and translate these sizes into roughly Small, Medium, Lareg, XL etc I'd be grateful.

40, 44, 48, and 52. They seem to be the sizes that both NFL and NBA Authentics come in.

My missus, the lovely thing bought me a replica Dallas football helmet. Lovely thing. Proper heavy and has airholes on top so air can be pumped into the cells inside the helmet.

She can't read my mind that I would like the retro white with lone star one too!

The most expensive thing in the house that gathers dust (though is constantly admired!!)

In San Diego we were penalized 115 yards and had a perfectly good Polamalu TD overruled, only 5 secs remaining though, so wouldn't have mattered much, unless your a betting man. We were very unlucky against the Giants with the long snapper getting injured and Harrison's snap going over the punter's head and giving up a safety. But it's all swings and roundabouts during a season.

But yeah, the offense have been truely horrible in most games this season, and we really need to get the running game started again. I agree however that we probably would be 7-7 or even worse if we didn't have the most amazing defense. On average we give up 239 yards per game, thats almost 20 yards better than the second on the list.

Other teams have already found us out , but what does it matter when they can't do anything about that steel curtain defense ;)

sLlll 15-12-2008 04:56 AM

Just score more points and you'll be alright :D

sLlll 15-12-2008 05:33 AM

Dallas 20 - 8 NYG

We are a great football team. Just like the :love:Palace:love:

For a real person? 48 = Large. I'd say.

50 is my choice, but I occasionally go 48.

However, there is a reason for that. It's a 9ers jersey.

I think the markup on them is disgusting. Considering its probably just sweatshop. The stitched numbers probably cost about $1 more. Its frankly disgraceful.

My earlier (drunkier) outbursts were caused by the fact that my team (Sheffield) now have a very very good chance of going undefeated. We took on our arch rivals Leeds and frankly dicked on them. A comfortable 14-0.

So we all got drunk and had fun. And for some reason my left arm no longer moves.

Apologies to anyone who's wall i've written on (again...) particularly if at the time I had no idea what was going on in the NFL.

Anyway, perhaps time for some sleep. God do I feel rough. Might sack off work today!

So no Buress and Jacobs, and Giants lose again.

Next two games are Panthers at home then Minnesota on the road. 11-5 finish anyone?

Its so open this year, so open...

davematt 15-12-2008 08:24 AM

Guys, how do you go about securing home field advantage? Looking at all the divisional standings, if the Panthers secure home field advantage going into the play offs,, with their home record, they are going to be the team to beat going into January.

Best record, including tiebreakers.

I think if the Panthers win in NY they'll have home field in the NFC.

I see the Seahawks lost again.
Dark days for professional sport in Seattle.
Seahawks shit, Mariners worse, Sonics gone... :(

Benzhiyi 15-12-2008 10:56 AM

I lost 117-121 in my fantasy play-off game, largely because I picked Davone Bess over Hines Ward.

Crazy crazy crazy. Gutted.

and let's not mention U Dub football...

AddiscombeEagle 15-12-2008 11:10 AM

I am still getting over that Ravens defeat last night. Honestly thought we were the better team, but the experienced QB made all the difference in the end.

Gutting, get the feeling we won’t make the play offs now, we have to now beat the Cowboys at their place and going to be hard to pick ourselves up after that.

Great game mind, and backs up the conversation on here the other week about games not needing lots of touchdowns to be entertaining.

I personally think we could have beaten you.

We held you at the half. And then that •••• took out Welker and that was our offense gone. You cant throw to a triple covered Moss and when you have Gaffney and Watson knocking the ball up in the air for interceptions every game when its thrown to them, it really doesn't help.

Yep just saw that, I'm sure I saw the ticker on ESPN saying they lost. :clown:

All is well now at 3-11. :o

I think he meant they lost position for draft picks. ;)

And to correct what I said earlier, if the Panthers win their remaining two games they'll have home field in the NFC playoffs. Winning in NY but losing in week 17 would leave them 12-4 when the G-men could still get to 13-3.

Steelers-Titans this Sunday is huge for AFC home field advantage.

Chiefs have now lost 21 of 23. Their decision to actually give the Jets a draft pick for Herman Edwards looks worse and worse with time.
