Jets 0/4 in 4pm EST kick offs this year

And guess what time this game kicks off :(

Jets 0/3 on West Coast this year :(

As if Seattle will allow Holmgren to go out on a bum note in his last home game

Our implosion is set to continue and my money has already been placed on Seattle.

But we'll still beat Miami to at least stop them making it :p

Lots of undeserving pro-bowlers again this year. It's a shame people get picked for their name rather than what they've done on the field.

pauldrulez 16-12-2008 11:03 PM

Why is Favre in there btw?

No Forte, DeAngelo Williams or Clark.

Ronnie Brown? Would rather have Steve Slaton.

Am in agreement with the 3 Cardinals.

But no Calvin Johnson?

pauldrulez 16-12-2008 11:07 PM

Saxon, out of Interest.

Compared to the ones I dont think should be in there, who are the ones you dont think should be.

I agree with the 11 starters on the AFC D. Despite Porter being there

My 11 Offensive starters would be close to the same and the Special Teams is pretty much right for me.

No Lemarr Woodley I just noticed.

Ah well. I think 2 more Patriots should be in there rather than 7 (SEVEN:eek:) Jets.

saxoneagle 16-12-2008 11:09 PM

Favre, Faneca, Jared Allen... picked on name alone.

No Forte, Slaton, Mayo, Ryan (although I can't really argue with the 3 QBs in the NFC).

I can understand no Calvin Johnson - it's tough when your team is 0-14 to get much recognition.

saxoneagle 16-12-2008 11:11 PM

Seven Jets is a piss take.

Latvian Eagle 16-12-2008 11:11 PM

I'd have taken Brady and Palmer as two of the AFC QB's to be fair!

I would have had Manning, Cutler, Rivers as the AFC QBs with Cassel and then Favre. Although if he hadn't been out most of the season, I would have had Schaub in there.
I agree with you on Ryan. Very unlucky.
Slaton should be there. So should Mayo if it was a 3-4.

Calvin Johnson is so impressive that he should be in there.

Latvian Eagle 16-12-2008 11:15 PM

Dan Orlovsky and Kevin Kolb should have been close for the NFC QBs too!

It's only based on this season.

How the hell is Joe Thomas in there? He's been awful this year. I thought Jake Long led the voting at one point? Strange.

The Favre selection is ridiculous.

Favre over Pennington? Given the comparative talent on those two teams (i.e. NYJ is stacked compared to Miami) and their respective records? (i.e. both 9-5.) No.

What on earth does Chad have to do to get some recognition? Because if we'd had McCown back there we'd be something like 2-11 by now.

AddiscombeEagle 17-12-2008 10:40 AM

Anyone else got the email for priority registration for the NFL game at Wembley next year?

I hate having to pay out £50 or whatever 10 months in advance, but don’t have a choice if you want to go.

Completely agree on the Chad front.

Favre probably 7th or 8th in AFC QB rankings IMHO.

And re: tickets. I already have a seat reserved behind the bench :p

AddiscombeEagle 17-12-2008 11:35 AM

How did you manage that?

Wembley club tickets?

No, NFLUK are providing tix for the UKPatriots group. And since thats who I am going out to Boston with next year, i'm part of it :)

£102 down the bottom behind them or £72 up in the air behind them.

Will probably go for the expensive option

AddiscombeEagle 17-12-2008 12:12 PM

Nice one, I am a member of a UK Ravens club, bet there is a lot more in yours than ours. Think the Ravens one barely hit double figures.

Im a member of the UK Seahawks club, we have over 200 members, not bad for a team with little US press coverage.
