(In fact, Strath/Elliott - have we even worn the aqua this season?) Cowboys pretty much always wear white at home too. And still no-one has guessed correctly on the quiz question... |
hmmm.
My other two thoughts are probably wrong now then, but the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks as I can barely remember seeing their white shirts although tbh I may have seen the Cards white one once this year but cant remember if its home or away :D But both of them are in hot places in the summer so I'm probably wrong. What does Seattles white shirt even look like  |

... but for our annual defeat at Houston... ... and for a certain road game in week 3. :lux: Quote:

In fact in the last few minutes the game was quite spectacular. Troy Aikman - very early in his career - stepped forward into a pass and was knocked out throwing the goal-ahead TD (just absolutely leveled, I guess the tackler would probably be fined today) but Phoenix (as they were then) came back with another TD. Think that might have been the year the Cowboys went 1-15 but don't hold me to that. |

I'm going to catch up now, despite having a lot to do right now. :hmph: |

And I'm getting a hunch we're all looking in the wrong direction... or should that be the wrong division? I'm not far off googling this. Not knowing is starting to bug me! |

I'll wait for Ben(or elliott) to confirm our answers. Next, I think the Dolphins wore white to Gillette in September as Bill has us wearing white in home games at the beginning of the season with the higher temperatures. Right, blog-time :p |
Interesting note I just found while researching the last question:
Quote:
1) It is a comment from a really stupid article (IMHO), and 2) Among the comments is one which criticises the Chargers' powder blue throwback. Quote:

Either that or all the footage and photos from that day have been manipulated. ;) |

I have to say, I have no problem with powder blue. It looks good, and is classic. Surely, in an alternate uniform you have to have alternate pants? That's how it works! And finally, how have UNC Tarheels got away with having such a pale blue jersey? Watching it on telly, you can barely tell the difference between that and white, surely the whole point is to prevent clash. How shit. |
Strathers, Freudian slip. I meant Bill had the Pats wearing white.
As fans were complaining about a home curse in white after Game 1 (Brady :sob:) and Game 3 (Dolphins thrashing with a cat). New blog completed :) Blue Boy may be interested in this one. |
Seattle is the correct answer. :)
|
Excellent. 2 from 2.
Sort of.... And I guessed Tuck right for the Grim Question of the Week. This question was asked 2 weeks back for tickets on a Pats radio show. Name the two Raiders starting Receivers named on their depth chart? (And its not Higgins) You wont believe how hard it is to get one of their names, no matter two... And no cheating. |
Elliott, no criticism of the Chargers' powder blue or UNC's Carolina blue please. They're both classics in my view.
Paul, that question is too hard. Not even Jamarcus Russell knows the answer to that (probably not saying much). |
Oh, and here's the blog post I strongly disagreed with earlier:
http://ahabsquest.wordpress.com/2006...t-home-no-way/ I'd quite like the author of that to have to work in Swansea, where he can explain his feelings on the issue to the supporters of the local football club. :D |
