Farmers and their big arse incredibly slow vehicles. Staying in a sleepy midlands village at the moment and the amount of times I’ve ended up stuck behind a tractor on a single lane road for ages is not amusing me. Try desperately to over take but not being able to because of oncoming cars and bendy lanes that restrict your view to safely over take. And all the while these flaming good for nothing farmers trundle along without a care in the world.

Zebra crossings.
If the car doesn't stop you tell yourself it doesn't matter, but you feel indignant anyway; the awkward acknowledgement of thanks; the man-on-man gallantry is emasculating. No, I can't stand them. I'd rather wait. |

Anyone who uses the saying “looks a player” when describing a footballer.
Cringeworthy. |

Theft. Lazy ****ers that can be bothered to work to buy stuff and think it’s easier to nick it. I sometimes wonder whether Singapore has the right idea with the rattan. High dense population and very very crime free.

Sainsbury’s Cash Passport. Good idea. Isolate your holiday money from your bank account. No fees for small convenience purchases. Works just like any payment card. “You can top up via the app”. Yes. So we “top up via the app” but the money’s not available until a) it’s cleared “up to 5 days” and b) another 24 hours for it to be added to your card. Naively we assumed that “top up via the app” was something quick. Given that uk bank transfers are now for the most part instant this ‘fine print’ is bordering on mis-selling.
Now the funds are going to go in when we’re back home and we’ll have to pay fees to convert them back to sterling and withdraw them. Of course if Sainsbury’s advertised this they’d lose half their market. Edit: what actually annoys me about it is that you end up having to assume the worst. Caveat emptor, fair enough, but to read between the lines to decipher whether what is suggested is actually what is going to be provided is just too tiring. It’s like {some low cost airlines} who seem positively to be trying to trick you into breaking their rules. |

Nicky Campbell and whatever highly irritating bint he hosts the morning show on Radio 5Live with. Their ‘chat’ and views on all and everything is so annoyingly right on, sit on the fence, sterile, uninteresting, wet, weak as water trite I’ve ever heard. And don’t get me started on their attempts to make a joke. Just STOP! PLEASE!
And those listeners that email the show with their comments on things are no better. They must live in some sort of fairytale everything is wonderful bubble. Where is this place? I want to live there! |

An inconsiderate neighbour who for 3 beautifully sunny days over a Bank Holiday uses circular saws etc all day to build a very large shed, we're lucky to have a nice large garden to enjoy with our family in weather like this, but can't hold a discussion because of the noise and are being forced to go out.

I had to endure the same earlier in the summer when a neighbour was chain sawing up trees in his garden from dawn to dusk. But next day it was all over, so I reckon he’d borrowed/hired it and was therefore up against the clock. I pity you if you live beside someone who loves a ‘Bank Holiday Project’. |

My entire family's inability to book a ******* flight.
They've been at it for about a month now. Waiting for the "right price" and then when they've found a flight, not booking it due to some issue like payment method or the airline website not working. I absolutely guarantee I will have to book the damn flights. And I guarantee I will get it done in 10 minutes. |
