Yup

Starting with the expensive Wood after lunch

Why is Robinson bowling so slowly?!

Edit: injured. FFS.

Tomo 14-01-2022 08:40 AM

There’s been a few hints that Robinson needs to work on his fitness.

I know anyone can get injured but it’s not useful.

Prince Phillip 14-01-2022 08:45 AM

If only England had some right arm fast-medium to bring into the attack.

1 over of 70mph dollies after the break then off and not seen again.

Less than ideal. And still haven't seen Broad yet.

When they got to 100, Skybet were offering 5/2 on next wicket to fall at over 150.

Easy money.

Well played! :p

I was just typing "Normal service well and truly resumed" and the wicket fell :)

GB2506 14-01-2022 10:02 AM

They will still go on to get 325 which will give them a first innings lead of about 100 as we struggle to get 200 again.

KYLIE MINEAGLE 14-01-2022 10:03 AM

I have got 6/1 on Root scoring a ton. Feel he is due.

Oh, yes, undoubtedly. In fact, you might be being optimistic.

It's good to see England playing with pride and showing a real fight, a pity Wood's bowling was poor giving them easy runs. However take nothing away from the superb Travis Head and if not for him and now Green assuming we dont allow him also to get a century, then we would be in a really strong position.
Now we await to see how our batsmen respond and that is always impossible to predict.

Problem is that all their batsmen seem capable of doing this - and one or two generally do in each innings. Until the last test, only Root looked capable of getting past 50

Marnus.................................I would've been bowled out as well mate..........................but not with that stupid ****en shot.................idiot.

stinky 14-01-2022 10:49 AM

I don't understand why Wood was picked to play on a green wicket in overcast conditions. Some really bizarre decisions on this tour.

Whoever sets the odds at Skybet clearly isn't a follower of the England cricket team. We are the masters of letting a good position get away from us.

No idea but this pitch and these conditions seem tailor-made for him
