RB Eddie Lacy visited Sea (his new team), Minn and GB in the last wk. For one of the three teams Lacy weighed 267. Listed last year at 234.

I'm assuming that team wasn't the Seahawks because they just signed him.

Sadiq Khan wants to get the superbowl in london. Can't see it happening personally but it would be cool.

They'd want at least a 10pm kick off time though.

At the other end of the bonus scale, naturally, are those high-earning players who barely saw the field. Cowboys QB Tony Romo, who was injured and lost the starting job to Prescott, played a single series in Week 17. With his sizable contract, his performance-based bonus netted him a whopping $64.11.

But Romo’s steak dinner (without booze) wasn’t the smallest bonus handed out. That appears to belong to Jaguars backup QB Chad Henne, who played all of one snap in 2016—a kneeldown. Henne earned a cool $35.28 for his troubles. Don’t spend it all in one place, Chad.

It's about time the NFL trained guys on how to properly celebrate a touchdown.

We're developing an educational training video for players to show clear examples of appropriate and inappropriate celebrations.

Raiders move to Vegas now approved by 31 of the NFL team owners, should be there by 2020

And for once, I agree with the Dolphins.

I see we have resigned Julius Peppers. I can bring out my 2007 Panthers jersey again. :lux:

Any good signings by the Buffalo Bills

Aaron Hernandez has hanged himself in prison!

LLCOOLSTEVE 19-04-2017 12:51 PM

Yeah just read that

Death too good for him

LDNEAGLE 19-04-2017 01:22 PM

A real waste. Had it all given to him on a silver platter. Could have won the Super Bowl twice with the Pats but chose to surround himself with scum and throw it all away.

Depending on what condition he is in, could be an unbelievable signing for the Raiders

He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

I've often wondered what keeps people going in those situations. If it were me, I'd rather end it all rather than spend the rest of my life in prison.

With each inmate costing the tax payer as much as $60000 per year, I wonder if it would be popular amongst the public (and inmates themselves) to offer them the chance to voluntarily pop their clogs rather than spend the rest of their lives shuffling about in misery.

The religious community I'm sure would be convinced once they see the savings in their pocket, and how much more room is available in prisons for church vandals.

Everyone's a winner

I read your post and assumed you were talking about the recently deceased Aaron Hernandez. Too soon?

Surely the hope that new evidence comes up and they're acquitted. Better to spend life in prison with (albeit probably pointless) hope than just end it.

Yeah I can understand that especially when you see your child in the courtroom and know you going to miss her growing up.
