If it is, it will hopefully be situated on some sort of 'NFL Fantasy draft' thread rather than this one

Interesting read on how baffling it is that Kaepernick is still unsigned.

Tom lets Marshawn have the west, as long as he can have the rest of the country

1st episode of Hard Knocks is on the NFL website featuring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this year!

Raekwon McMillan suspected ACL injury for the Dolphins when on the field as part of special teams yesterday vs Falcons.

And its very good!

Talking of the Bucs, the latest pointless NFL argument this time features former Panther Josh Norman, who fires a pretend how and arrow whenever he makes one of his trademark plays.

The NFL have forbidden his 'celebration' saying the simulation of firing any weapon is not allowed in the league.

He has cited the tradition of the Patriots firing muskets before their games, and the Bucs' (pretty cool I must admit) pirate ship that fires t shirts out of massive cannons.

I say throw them all out of the league for good

Its all happening this afternoon.

Zeke Elliott is suspended for 6 games.

Bills trade Sammy Watkins to the Rams and then trade for Jordan Matthews off the Eagles. Think they're sacking off 2017 to build for the future.

They've said the same to Brandon Cooks.

Quote:

Cooks is taking a more reserved approach. While the New England Patriots wide receiver has said in the past that the celebration is inspired by a passage in the Bible about a boy named Ishmael who used archery to survive in the desert, Cooks also isn’t going to push his limits.

“It’s for God, so if that’s threatening, then I think we’ve got a problem, but I’m going to be respectful,” Cooks told WEEI 93.7 FM. “If it’s a penalty, it’s a penalty. I’m not going to do anything to hurt the team.”
Stupid league, stupid rules.

There's an urban myth out there that Don Hutson made one of these catches back in the leather helmet days.

Not quite sure how the Georgia Dome functioned.

So the season is almost here, how are your teams looking at the moment?

Seahawks are looking ok, still question marks over the O line but RW3 is looking quicker in pre season. One to watch is 7th round RB Chris Carson, looks a very tidy player.

Read about that. Sorry state of affairs.

Interested to get peoples thoughts for the season.

Patriots obviously are the favourites but I'm not sure they are as strong as last year.

A lot is expected of Atlanta but I can really see Carolina returning to form in what is the toughest division. Can see Atlanta and Carolina both getting 10 wins with the Bucs and saints around 8/9.

Have to fancy the Seahawks this year. One of the best defences with tons of pro bowlers. Don't face many of the big gun quarter backs (Brady, Ryan, Bi Ben) with RW3 also looking fitter than ever.

My predictor has it as the following:

WC -
Bengals vs Raiders
Dolphins vs Titans
Cowboys vs Falcons
Panthers vs Giants

Tians vs Patrioits
Bengals vs Steelers
Cowboys vs Packers
Carolina vs Seahawks

Patriots vs Steelers
Packers vs Seahawks

Patriots vs Seahawks final

Predictions for the Season

- Dak Prescott will struggle. No Zeke for 6 games, OL leaving and they'll allow him to do more than he should be allowed to do because of the hype.

- Christian McAffrey will be distinctly average. Reminds me too much of Darren Sproles/Danny Woodhead. Need to actually see him break a tackle to get excited. Had a good OL at Stanford and will get found out.

- Marcus Mariota will win MVP

- Derrius Guice will win the heismann

- Derrick Barnett will win D Rookie

- Kareem Hunt will win O Rookie

WC -
Bengals vs Texans
Raiders vs Steelers
Eagles vs Giants
Packers vs Falcons

Patriots vs Texans
Titans vs Raiders
Seahawks vs Packers
Buccs vs Eagles

Patriots vs Raiders
Packers vs Buccs

Patriots vs Buccs Superbowl

aj4england 07-09-2017 03:35 PM

Would love to see Buccs make the playoffs their offensive weapons and QB are exciting. Just may be a year or two too soon for the QB I feel who have a fairly tough first 5.

Edit -particularly harder when they factor in they wont have a bye week due to the Miami rescheduled game. The bye week was meant to come just before road trips to Green Bay and Atlanta but now head to Miami (albeit not that far) before these two crunch back end games.
