Eagles look the genuine article to me. I thought Wentz was a bit of a second tier starter but he's changed my opinion: not Aaron Rogers but maybe Eli Manning. While it's easy to suggest that they have some easier games coming up (and I'm not convinced any team with Vonn Miller is easy nor is going to Dallas), they have already won some games that I thought they would lose.

DP07 - watch as many games as you can, whole games not just highlights. That way you get to see solid play as well as spectacle. For example, highlights never show the defense doing its job and stopping the running back at the line of scrimmage, or the guy that regularly makes a couple of yards after contact. As for choosing a team, I don't think you should get someone else to tell you who to support. Instead, watch some games and see who you like. You have a 1 in 32 chance of getting it right.

Two questions: which side is most like Palace (passionate fans, nice kit, fast exciting players) but not shite and what's the best way to understand the sport that isn't playing the NFL games? Thinking youtube videos or something like that

cheers

I follow both this message board at the philadelphia eagles board and the fans are almost identical (in a good and bad way). Some of the most fanatical ones around. The midnight green is sexy as an Carson Wentz, Zach Ertz, Fletcher Cox are bonified superstars.

ALSO THEY ARE THE FRICKIN' EAGLES.

What did people think of the Kiko Alonso hit on Flacco?

Wentz has the physical tools and mentality to be a bona fide star for years to come now that he has a supporting cast, Ertz is finally having a breakout year and looks like he could become one of the most reliable tight ends in the league and Cox is a stud interior defender and has been for the last few years.

If you asked me, or the majority of people who watch NFL games week in week out, who are not Eagles fans, I’m sure most would not call them superstars

I don’t actually think the NFL has many superstars right now

Off top of my head....

Brady
Gronk
OBJ
JJ Watt
Aaron Rodgers
Zek
Antonio Brown
AJ Green
Stafford
Cam Newton

???

I wouldn’t put many more on the list

So weird seeing my Vikes playing at Twickenham this morning

greybot 29-10-2017 01:40 PM

Ended up in a pub near London Bridge last night where the Vikings official meet up was taking place. Got to talk NFL and Jags all night. Good bunch of lads. And ladies

Been a good game so far. Not sure about the NFL players 'soccer' themed celebrations. My only complaint would be as to why the BBC need to interview prem players during breaks in play? And explaining similarities to rugby rules. Seriously? Nearly been coming over for a decade now.

Bumped into Scott Dann at Twickenham today. Attachment 49675 Had a good chat with him about Palace. He still loves the club.

Yeah it starting to annoy me now, going on about how great the fans are and how unique it is blah blah, its the same stuff every game. lets just have a normal game without all the crap as if it was the very first game in London

Felt sick seeing that Zach Miller injury. Can't begin to imagine how much something like that would hurt

saxoneagle 30-10-2017 08:21 AM

Think I have my Superbowl tickets sorted. Now all I need is the Pats to make it :D

Seahawks/Texans game was amazing last night, some great WR catches. Fantastic game and worth a watch if you have Game pass.

It was an amazing game of terrible defending and amazing offense.

Deshaun Watson is going to be some QB.

pauldrulez 31-10-2017 08:15 PM

Competition for who can make the trade for the lowest value possible.

Pats trade their backup QB for a 2nd.

Dolphins trade their starting RB for a 4th.

Panthers have now traded their starting WR.

Love Deadline Day.

LLCOOLSTEVE 31-10-2017 08:32 PM

Kelvin Benjamin to the Bills

hmmmm

LLCOOLSTEVE 31-10-2017 08:36 PM

With the Bills defense they could be a team to watch

aj4england 31-10-2017 09:09 PM

Ajayi to the eagles didnt swe that coming even off a relaively poor stRt for Jay. First cutler now ajayi.

Agreed steve. Benjamin is a fine WR when fit.
