It's not surprising that the Falcons lost just that they didn't lose in a more painful manner. Usual operating procedure for an Atlanta sports team would be to miss the XP, stop the Eagles on that last drive, block the FG then fumble the ball as they try to run out clock and give up a game winning FG.

In his second season, Shanahan came right out the gates scoring like crazy and saved his job. (And got himself the 49ers job) But Quinn isn't one to throw guys under the bus so I imagine he'll last the season even if the Falcons keep sucking on offense.

I'm pretty sure the Falcons are one of the other losses, a game against the Titans a few years ago.

Its the Browns best start since 2004 - 0-0-1!!!

They have already bettered last seasons record and are now 1-31-1 over the last two seasons.

How good did Sam Darnold look?

I didn't realize how good his arm is. Some of his throws were superb.

Showed real resilience away to bounce back from that start. Fair play to the lad.

I agree, for a 21 year old making his debut and throwing a pick 6 on his first throw, he showed some balls to pick himself up and play like that.

The defence looked awesome too.

Still don't think we will get more than 6 or 7 wins but something is slowly building
