Ah yes.

Good memory!

I didn't actually realise it was that long ago to be honest. I remember watching the last game of the season wanting Seattle to beat St. Louis, the commentators making a big deal about an 8-8 or 7-9 team making the play offs as Divisional Winners.

davematt 10-12-2019 02:05 PM

You know what, now you are making me think back, I remember watching the game in a bar in Santa Monica. It was a Saturday afternoon game I think, and I had no car, so just sat in the bar all day and got hammered :D

Raiders played their last game at The Oakland Coliseum today (fittingly lost).

Will be interesting to see if they get a new stadium bounce next year... certainly a good fit for Sin City - well they used to be, not so sure these days.

I wonder how the 49ers did yesterday.

On the other hand

davematt 16-12-2019 09:29 AM

Well that was a ******* let down.

Still very much in our hands but does mean we will have to win on Saturday now at home to the Rams before that week 17 finale vs. Seattle.

The injuries to both lines is now starting to take its toll. That was our poorest offensive performance of the season (bar Kittle) and it coincides with our backup centre starting.

But, positives are we are in the play offs, and considering where this team was twelve months ago, that is a job well done all round.

was waiting for that ;)

A win by the thinnest of margins... enjoy it whilst you can Funk, you've had little else to celebrate this season

Keep saying it's The Bill's year. Onward to the Play offs!

hughff 17-12-2019 04:07 AM

Congratulations Drew Brees.

Somehow they've beaten the Saints and 49ers on the road.

New brand of crazy descending on Buffalo - 300 fans meet the teams 2am flight at the tarmac fence in subzero temperatures.

Jesus, anyone watching the SNFFF (Sunday night football flag fest) ?

Utter shit from the Vikings. For one reason or another we’ve lost to every Elite team we’ve played this season. Can’t see us getting anywhere in the playoffs.

BB Bob 24-12-2019 07:14 AM

I would blame Kirk Cousins, but getting sacked with a three man rush doesn't say much for your OL....

O Lime the prime suspect for sure, was the same problem last season. We signed a Center in our first round draft pick, might have to spend it on another O lineman in 2020!

Cousins has been fairly good if you look at his two years in Minnesota from an individual standpoint, but he’ll never live up to that ridiculous contract which should be for an elite QB.

Lots of people blaming Mike Zimmer too, and to be fair it has felt like we’ve been out coached at times, as opposed to our talented.

Or maybe you just pin it on the Vikings’ amazing, historical talent for bottling big moments.

hughff 30-12-2019 04:30 AM

Congratulations to Sean (aka Everybody Ertz) for winning the CPFC Spread Pickers. Tony P was second but it wasn't even close.

CT_Palace 30-12-2019 04:33 AM

Huge huge HUGE win for the 9ers

Really thought we were looking at yet another last minute loss to the Seahawks
