They combine this with saving battery power by not using indictors. |
People not listening properly. I get Google updates on Leeds Crown Court news (ever since we had a dodgy builder) and one the other day reported a husband and wife found guilty of the husband having sex with some chickens and his wife filmed it.
Suspect his mate had suggested to him that he could make a fortune by posting videos on Youtube and he should get his wife to make a video of him plucking chickens. WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN! The really sad bit is that the couple have now split up because the husband has heard that Turkeys gobble. Boom boom. Tish.... The news story of the court judgment is for real BTW. I daren't ask....... |

Black cab extortion. £16 for Surbiton - New Malden on Sunday (over £4 a mile) Recently UBER did it for £7.50. Lesson learned
|
At the age of 58 ?

You might think . Maz. Its rare thou to have such a direct comaparison I didnt want to bore people with the whole story but both instance happened last saturday night/sunday morning with my desire to drink with the lads after cricket on saturday and be back on the cricket pitch at noon on sunday so having to pick up the car. The Covid sunday train schedule wasnt playing ball and the Black cabs were just ... there at the station. As I say never again

£16 from Surbiton to New Malden? If there were any trains that would've been next stop, wouldn't it?
£16 would get me from my house to Glasgow Airport without too much bother and that's about 20 miles and the other side of the city centre. Maybe not on a Sunday right enough but anyway. £16!? |

Just walked to the kitchen with my dinner plate and halfway there i could feel the blood draining from my face. Ended up standing on the spot waiting for it to pass. Vision went dark, knees started to buckle, nearly dropped the plate and then it went back to normal.
Happened to me once before when taking a piss. That time i got a face full of porcelain sink and a fat scar above my eyebrow. Annoying. |

Joe85, you can't muck about with your health and the possibility of these episodes being potentially mini strokes should not be discounted. You're a great lad, with a great family and we all respect you and care for you and we all just want you to be okay.
Have you got that tenner you owe me by the way? |

I had a spell like this a few months back. Sitting in church, suddenly felt all faint and went pale. Don't think my vision was affected but tried to get up to go outside and it wasn't having it. Was practically carried out and sat on the steps, then sent to Monklands A&E where they spent the night doing every test they could think of then sent me home but told me not to drive or operate machinery (Mrs F tried to argue that this included the piano). The following day the consultant phoned me up and asked me to go and see him immediately. Uh-oh, I thought. But it turned out that he was just dealing with it then because he had a free slot, and no it wasn't a TIA but just a faint spell. Things that look like a heart attack or a stroke (which is what a TIA is technically) should always be checked out at A&E. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/transi...ic-attack-tia/ |

Good luck Joe... Could be a few things, but Blind sounds like he knows about these things.
Back to an annoyance (or more a head scratcher really), why do people who ride motor scooters, as in Vespas or the like, think it is OK to ride them in flip flops, shorts and a tank top, with a 60's retro helmet? What makes them think if you came off at 30 mph you will be OK because it's a scooter? I'm sure we all know someone who has come a cropper in Spain or Greece etc. riding these things. Not saying you should wear the full leathers and full face helmet (although I've seen that also!), but jeans and a long sleeve shirt/jacket might help. |

My Dad, a bit like me in this respect sometimes, was like a lot of men. He never visited the doctor. More to the point, he was anti visiting the doctor. He died at 65 years old. A couple of years before, he had an incident similar to yours in the bathroom at my uncle's house. And ignored it and carried on. |
