Serious or not, it's a thoroughly unpleasant thing to write and I'd have thought you above that sort of thing.

Having said that, I acknowledge that I'm perhaps being a tad hypocritical.

We've got the same. We've got some bushes along the side of the house and my wife looked down there the other day and there were loads of dogturd bags. Nice. Along with loads of empty Guinness cans.

When you miss a bus by a few seconds, the driver inches 3-4 feet away from the bus stop and is then in heavy traffic but still won't let you on because he is no longer at the bus stop.

Getting rid of the Routemaster 'buses actually made it materially more difficult to get around London. You could jump on and off anywhere as long as they weren't going faster than jogging pace, which was usually. You could bounce off one in the middle of Oxford Street and onto another and if you got on the wrong one it wasn't too much of a problem because you could just jump off again. Same applies if a bunch of Millwall get on and start giving it large. Get on the wrong 'bus nowadays and you can be in Stoke Newington before you have a chance to do anything about it.

Thats due to insurance and liability, if the bus is hit or you slip and fall getting on or injure yourself or any occupant of the bus is injured then you can be liable.

If a bus driver allows someone to get onto the bus anywhere but at a designated stopping area then he can have disciplinary measures and could also face a fine in the case of any incodent occurring.

I'm sure I read once about someone just missing the bus / not being let on, so as the bus was in traffic anyway, he walked in the road in front of the bus all the way to the next stop where the bus driver had to let him on. I think it was in Tooting or somewhere like that, so it wasn't miles between the stops.

Can't help a wry chuckle as a passenger though, if you're safely ensconced in the vehicle while it all plays out in front of you.

To be fair, the former does make one want to put one's face in a meat grinder.

Perhaps worse: those using 'NGL' (transcribed from street patois as 'not gun lie'). It was a war crime in text form, to be fair, but I've now heard my nephews using the letters as a standalone phrase. FFS.

Thanks. We wont be going if I deem it unsafe or irresponsable to do so.

The postponing option helps of course.

Wife's sister lives there. I have been to BA about ten times, but we haven't been together for maybe 10 years.

Nice parks, culture, coffee/tea houses, good restaurants, meat, tango, street markets. A bit different (and better) to what Santiago offers.

I always found the people to be quite nice as well. There are some arrogant twats around, but less so than Brasil for sure.

The quality of experience had declined. The first few times, the place was truly terrific. Maybe, it was because we had seen a lot of it, so they experience wasn't as brilliant, but we certainly felt a decline - some of the gloss had gone. We just like avoiding most of the tourist traps, and walking from cafe to cafe, from park to park etc.. Finding hidden gems like churches that no one visits or a local restaurant off the tourist trail. Speaking Spanish and having a Chilean wife helps.

Going out on the Rio Plata to Tigre is a real treat as well.

However, I maybe missing something (awaits WCB or Wolfdingle to confirm I usually am etc etc) but didn’t you have some strong opinions about people having holidays in the current climate ?

Seeking asylum isn’t illegal. Traveling by dinghy is also not illegal although it is dangerous and not very efficient.

And yes there are many people in the press that have sold their soul to attract the depraved. They want people like you to but their papers or for click bait. It works because stupid people don’t know that traveling by dinghy and/or seeking asylum isn’t illegal.

People who chew gum in an over exaggerated manner. Alex Ferguson used to piss me off when he did it, but blimey, Thomas Franks takes things to a whole new level, nashing away like there's no tomorrow.

I realise this is a bit intolerant, but it annoys me, I'd rather see Maurizio Sarri sucking on a broken off fag butt. Just to confirm, this isn't the American interpretation (although that would be annoying too as I feel it might distract the players).

Don't you think it is nice that you have had the opportunity to enjoy living in France and The UK?

Is there something special in your genes that has given you the right to enjoy that privilege, or is is just luck?

You are hating on immigrants, just for the sake of hating.

The accummulated cost to YOU of paying for them might work out at 10 quid a year. I would compare that to the cost of the royal family, the cost of politicians fiddles, the cost of rich people sending their money offshore, and the cost of certain companies not paying tax in the UK.

But you chose to target he most needy in the world as a worthy of your annoyance.

You need to take a long hard look at yourself. Seriously.

There used to be a time, until quite recently, were the idea of entering a country 'legally' or 'illegally' didn't exist.

I wonder what you would have thought with Windrush and the inflows from the Sub Continent. You would have been hanging on to Enoch's every word.

60 years back you had a government that were inviting people to come into the country.

I guess that the idea of illegal immigrants (as control of numbers) only come into effect from the late 60s. I would say to a big degree from the 80s onwards the idea of creating 'illegallity' to stop people coming or to 'send them back' was created by white tories to appeal and appease their voters.

I wonder whether someone from Australia, Canada or The USA has the same illegality status as someone from Africa. Or whether a Ruddian or Arab billionaire looking to invest in a football club has to cross the channel on a dingy?

When you consider that...it makes your viewpoint racist or at least discrimatory, even if you can't see it.

I am annoyed with myself for ruining this thread by being annoyed with Grand Aigle, the massive bell end racist, because it has annoyed Pallet, Razor and Stella.

As for annoying PIE “N“ Mash I couldn’t give two shits, which in itself is quite annoying.

She is a somewhat annoying Sky TV journalist who has recently annoyed lots of people (of a certain type) by attempting to hold slippery and annoying politicians to account.

I mean who would want our magnificent Health Secretary Matt Hancock held to account by somebody so full of herself. So uppity.

If you haven’t watched it this is gold:

Apologies in advance to anybody who would rather whistle a happy tune instead.

Did anyone say she was annoying because she held politicians to account ?

You seem to be misreading and/or misunderstanding. As usual

I must have misunderstood.:D

What do you find annoying about her, other than that she is tenacious in holding slippery, truth twisting politicians to account?

Is there something special in your genes that has given you the right to enjoy that privilege, or is is just luck?

You are hating on immigrants, just for the sake of hating.

The accummulated cost to YOU of paying for them might work out at 10 quid a year. I would compare that to the cost of the royal family, the cost of politicians fiddles, the cost of rich people sending their money offshore, and the cost of certain companies not paying tax in the UK.

But you chose to target he most needy in the world as a worthy of your annoyance.

You need to take a long hard look at yourself. Seriously.

I couldnt care less what you think....seriously!

PS I lived in UK France and Florida...all legally, not sneaking in and getting all my expenses/housing paid for!

If they arrive with documentation, through legal channels and able to support themselves, then no...
How many migrants live with you, even Lineker is having one!

Racist? Me? FFS dont tell my missus, shes black!

Your repeated posts on the subject say different, but if you don't really care what others think about your views, can I suggest you just **** off? Go and pollute another social network please. Oh, a further suggestion... the HOL might be more up your street.
